To celebrate The Corrs returning to the live arena with their 2024 UK and Ireland Talk On Corners tour in November, the band today announce special details of the reissuing of six of their classic studio albums on limited edition colour vinyl for the very first time – preorder HERE.
This marks the first time that these albums have been available on vinyl (apart from Jupiter Calling which had a limited black vinyl release in 2017), and the first time that any of them have been available in collectible colour vinyl. The albums will be released in 3 batches to coincide with the tour, with Talk On Corners (2LP Limited Edition Gold Vinyl) & In Blue (2LP Limited Edition Blue Vinyl) – out October 25th, Borrowed Heaven (2LP Limited Edition Green Vinyl) & Home (2LP Limited Edition Yellow Vinyl) – out November 15th & White Light (2LP Limited Edition White Vinyl) & Jupiter Calling (2LP Limited Edition Red Vinyl) – out December 6th.
The Corrs are Ireland’s first family of music, a multi-million selling sibling quartet who have conquered the world with a seamless blend of sleek pop rock, lush harmonies and Celtic folk trimmings. Comprising Andrea (lead vocals, piano, tin whistle), Sharon (violin, piano, vocals), Caroline (drums, piano, vocals) and Jim (guitar, keyboards, vocals), The Corrs have sold over 40 million albums since their debut Forgiven, Not Forgotten in 1995, spawning a dozen classic hit singles.
An enchanting mix of traditional Celtic music with a pop rock twist, The Corrs have written some of the biggest songs of the last three decades. Forgiven, Not Forgotten gave us the incredible title track, the exquisite Heaven Knows and of course, arguably one of the biggest contemporary songs of the modern era, Runaway. Their second album, Talk On Corners led with I Never Loved You Anyway, So Young and Only When I Sleep and is their biggest selling album to date.
They have enjoyed a career that has also seen Platinum records, BRIT Awards, Grammy and Ivor Novello nominations, the honour of being the only band to be asked to perform at Nelson Mandela’s 85th birthday, and more recently, the Queen’s Jubilee in 2002.
Their last album, 2017’s Jupiter Calling, was The Corrs’ seventh and most distinguished album – recorded with legendary producer T. Bone Burnett at London’s RAK Studios.
Performing tracks from the acclaimed album plus a selection of their greatest hits to fans all over the United Kingdom & Ireland, the multi-million selling sibling quartet will kick off their Talk On Corners arena tour at Belfast’s SSE Arena before heading to Manchester’s AO Arena, Glasgow’s OVO Hydro and Newcastle’s Utilita Arena. Joining them will be Aussie pop royalty Natalie Imbruglia.
