Hot off the back of the release of their kaleidoscopic new album, I Wish You Way More Than Luck, pysch-pop four-piece Lo Moon have announced a 2024 winter UK & EU headline tour.

Kicking off at Luxor in Cologne, Germany, on the 30th October, the nine date UK & EU tour will also include the band’s biggest UK headline show to date at London’s Scala on November 7th. “‘I Wish You Way More Than Luck’ is an album about leaving things behind—family, places, youth, relationships, time—and the traces that linger in the mind long after their physicality has receded,” the band says of the album. “The infinitely transient. Lo Moon comprises bassist/keyboardist Crisanta Baker, guitarist Sam Stewart, drummer Sterling Laws, and Lowell, the group’s singer, and chief songwriter. The band has toured with everyone from The War on Drugs, Phoenix, Glass Animals and Air to London Grammar, Chvrches, Metric, Muna and The Lemon Twigs.

Jack Savoretti has reconnected with his roots and produced the simply stunning, new, first-ever-all-Italian-speaking album Miss Italia – out May 17th.

The album came at an important moment in Jack’s life, as his Italian father had recently passed away. Jack explains; “My father was the anchor that tied me to Italy, the connection to my roots that I felt I was at risk of losing without him. So I went back to school. I didn’t want to imitate Italian music, I wanted to make it my own, combining everything I had learned over almost 20 years of experience from working in America, England, and Italy, merging Anglo-Saxon singer-songwriting with Italian to create something unique. I first had to learn to write in Italian before making MY album in Italian.”

The first single saw a beautiful collaboration between Jack and Italian superstar singer-songwriter Zucchero on the renowned track ‘Senza una Donna (Without A Woman)’. Today comes the second installment in album opener ‘Come Posso Raccontare’ – listen here.

Jack explains; “Como Posso Raccontare is the first Italian song I ever wrote. My whole life I’ve struggled to explain my Britishness to Italians and my Italian-ness to the British. This is probably as close as I will get.”

Today also sees the unveiling of the album’s full tracklisting, which reveals special collaborations with the likes of Natalie Imbruglia, Miles Kane, Carla Morrison, Delilah Montagu & previously mentioned Italian superstar Zucchero.

Jack’s reputation as a singer-songwriter is perfectly epitomised by the kinds of collaborators he attracts, previously including cultural icons the likes of Bob Dylan, Kylie Minogue, Shania Twain, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Nile Rodgers among many others. However, and albeit being bi-lingual from birth, writing in Italian was uncharted territory for an artist who has been making and sold millions of albums for over sixteen years, releasing seven over this period, two of which have reached #1 in the UK album charts – Singing To Strangers in 2019 and his most recent release, Europiana, in 2021.

For Miss Italia Jack went on a journey that saw him hone his craft even further and in a completely different language. He sourced a who’s who from the contemporary songwriting scene in Italy. A group of fellow craftsmen and women who he could collaborate with and learn from. In doing so, he didn’t make an album in Italian, he made the new Jack Savoretti record which happens to be in Italian, and a perfect tribute to his late father.

The beautiful results are Miss Italia – an album that sounds every bit Jack Savoretti whilst also being a first.

Following in the footsteps of Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney & Rosalía, Interpol will play the biggest show of their career at Mexico City’s 280,000 capacity main ceremonial square, the Plaza de la Constitución, better known as Zócalo, on Saturday April 20th. The show comes at the request of the Mexican Secretary of Culture, Claudia Curiel de Icaza.

Billed as a free show, the gig will be an opportunity for Interpol to give back to their long and dedicated Mexican fanbase who have supported them impeccably over the years. Whether it be headlining both Corona Capital Mexico City in 2019 and Corona Capital Guadalajara in 2023 – the two biggest festivals in the country – or the band’s global album album launch for Marauder in Mexico City at Palacio de los Deportes in 2022, the country has always had a special place in Interpol hearts. The show will also serve as an opportunity to break down the socio barriers within Mexico’s population, whilst giving the country its biggest gig of the year so far.

Formed in New York City, Interpol quickly rose to prominence with their unique blend of post-punk, shoegaze, and dark wave influences. Their debut album, Turn on the Bright Lights, became a critical and commercial success, establishing the band as a major force in alternative music. Over the course of their career, Interpol have released seven critically acclaimed studio albums including The Other Side of Make-Believe in July 2022, selling over a million records worldwide.  

To celebrate the anniversary of their seminal album Antics, Interpol recently announced a UK tour this November playing the album in full. Kicking off in Wolverhampton on November 1st, the run of dates will culminate with a show at London’s Alexandra Palace on Friday November 8th. Award-winning UK based genre-blending roots singer songwriter Elles Bailey returns with her stunning new album Beneath The Neon Glow. The album, Elles’ fourth studio album, comes out August 9th on Cooking Vinyl Records. 

The first taste of Beneath The Neon Glow comes in the shape of album opener ‘Enjoy The Ride’. The last song written for the album, ‘Enjoy The Ride’ perfectly bottles road movie energy and blue skies positivity with an autobiographical lyric that Elles has lived and breathed. “Very early on in my career a friend told me that this musical path I had chosen doesn’t have a destination, it’s a journey, a very tough journey and it’s so important to enjoy the journey,” Elles said of the track. “I have based my whole career on this motto and ‘Enjoy the Ride’ is my autobiographical tribute to the journey I have taken. Following his recent ambassadorial announcement, Tom Walker today partners with Suicide prevention charity, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) for the release of his brand new, towering ballad ‘Lifeline’ – a searingly emotional tribute to a friend he sadly lost.

Data shows that one in five people will have suicidal thoughts in their lifetime, with someone dying by suicide every 90 minutes on average in the UK, and ‘Lifeline’ explores the feelings and thoughts that race through your head when it affects the people closest to you – and questions what can be done to help. Tom says of the track; “Me and my friends lost one of our own suddenly and unexpectedly. It’s difficult to process grief.I felt we were all asking ourselves ‘what could I have done? My hope is that maybe by writing a song like this that addresses the stigma behind mental health, it might persuade people to think twice and ask for a helping hand when they’re really struggling. “‘Flicker’ is about the hardships of being in a painful relationship. It’s about allowing yourself to be manipulated knowingly, despite the difficulty of being used, in hopes that the situation will somehow, by some delusion, become one of love.” 

“‘I Don’t Have the Heart,’ is about on one’s inability to express to another that they are not in a place to continue a relationship that is meant to exist only in the past. The song also touches on the difficulty of creating boundaries and more importantly, sticking to them.”

Since they formed in 2022 in Boston, Tiny Habits has toured with Noah Kahan and Gracie Abrams, backed Lizzy McAlpine for her Tiny Desk Concert, and gained fans ranging from Phoebe Bridgers and Elton John to Mark Ronson and the late David Crosby. Dark Matter album packaging features light painting art by Alexandr Gnezdilov. Light painting is an artistic form of photography where images are created by adjusting a camera’s exposure for an extended period and using a light source, such as a flashlight, to “paint” in the dark. The album cover art was crafted using a large self-made kaleidoscope. Each letter visible on the cover was individually captured and handwritten midair with a specially designed flashlight to create the pearlescent effect. See more info on Alexandr Gnezdilov below.

Dark Matter World Tour 2024

In support of Dark Matter, Pearl Jam will head out on a world tour this year, marking the first time the band has announced a new album and tour simultaneously and first time the group has unveiled all worldwide tour dates at once. Their global tour, hitting nine countries and 25 cities, kicks off at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, and will cover much of North America including shows at Wrigley Field, Madison Square Garden, Fenway Park, and their first hometown performance in six years at Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, the world’s first net zero certified arena.

The tour continues with performances in the UK and Europe, including their first performance at London’s brand new and state-of-the-art Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, through September, followed by the group’s long-awaited ten-year return to New Zealand and Australia this November. Full routing below.

World-renowned singer-songwriter Hozier has today released an absolute treat for fans in the shape of Unheard EP.

After sharing the news on social media last week, alongside a video of a sketchbook, it was revealed that the EP will contain four unreleased songs, originally recorded during the sessions for latest chart-topping album Unreal Unearth. These include ‘Too Sweet’, ‘Empire Now’, ‘Fare Well’, and ‘Wildflower and Barley’ featuring Canadian Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and activist, Allison Russell.

Hozier says; “It’s my pleasure to announce the release of more work from the album sessions which could not make the original release. These are songs that might’ve made it to the circles of gluttony, limbo, violence and the outward ‘ascent’ respectively but could not for different reasons. I’m very glad I’ll get to share them with you.”

In August last year Hozier scored his first ever UK number 1 with that very third studio album Unreal Unearth. The Irish superstar has cemented himself as one of the greatest songwriters in his field with a record that spawned world class tracks in “Eat Your Young,” “All Things End,” “Francesca” & “De Selby (Part 2)”. He outsold the entire UK Top 5 combined in release week and also scored the top spot in Ireland, as well as securing his first ever number 1 album in the Netherlands and top 5 spots in the USA and Germany.

This summer will see Hozier perform outdoor shows, including a sold out date at London’s 45,000 capacity Finsbury Park on July 7th – which will be his biggest UK headline show to date. This follows what was an incredible 2023 on the live circuit which included a triumphant surprise set at Glastonbury, an acclaimed sold out show at Ally Pally Park, and over a million tickets sold worldwide for his sold-out headline tour, which saw him conquer arenas including London’s OVO Arena Wembley.

Due to phenomenal demand Alfie Boe has announced five extra dates to his huge UK tour this summer. The new shows will take place in Skegness, Southend, Tunbridge Wells, Bournemouth and Blackpool across June and July 2024.

Alfie released his stunning new Top 10 charting album Open Arms – The Symphonic Songbook in October. A fifteen-song programme will be printed in advance with few, if any repeats anticipated (but with the possibility of impromptu choices along the way). Costello and Nieve very occasionally take requests but should never be mistaken for a jukebox.

The third and fourth performances on the following day will propose a deuce of delights; two entirely different 15-song set-lists selected from half a century of popular songwriting craft.

The four shows are guaranteed to feature 60 different songs but we suspect this is just the start.

To celebrate the anniversary of their seminal album Antics, Interpol have announced a UK tour this November playing the album in full. Kicking off in Wolverhampton on November 1st, the run of dates will culminate with a show at London’s Alexandra Palace on Friday November 8th.

Released in 2004, Antics cemented Interpol’s position as one of the most influential bands of their generation. The album’s dark, atmospheric soundscapes and frontman Paul Banks’ signature vocals spawned iconic tracks such as ‘Slow Hands,’ ‘Evil,’ and ‘C’mere’ and Antics continues to resonate with fans worldwide, solidifying its place as a modern classic.
