Biggest Ever UK Headline Tour – October / November 2023
Includes London Palladium – November 14th

Crowning her 50th birthday celebrations in style, the undoubted Queen of British Soul Beverley Knight releases a new studio album, The Fifth Chapter – September 29th on Tag8/BMG.

No stranger to the spotlight, Beverley can do it all. An Olivier award-winning star of the West End stage, Saturday night TV regular on the latest series of Starstruck, and an astounding singer with a prolific music career. She finds herself aged 50, bigger than ever.

Partnering with a wealth of songwriting talent including Diane Warren, Seb Coe, Ollie Green and Andrew Roachford, as well as being co-produced with the likes of Jimmy Hogarth, AC Burrell, Mitch Allen & Josh Cohen/DJ Waldie, Beverley’s first collection of new music in seven years is a spectacular journey through the inspirations that have defined her incredible career.

Beverley explains; “My new album covers the kaleidoscope of my soul influences from disco, R&B, funk, gospel through to northern soul and big ballades. Maintaining a dual career in acting meant that for the first time I stepped back from my usual songwriting to allow some of the world’s greatest songwriters to scribe my thoughts. This album is a true team effort of incredible talents for which I am truly grateful.

The album’s first offering, ‘Last One On My Mind’ is a slice of stunning contemporary soul-pop – listen HERE. “Last One On My Mind is a sassy no nonsense but joyous sounding song with a big nod to modern disco,” Beverley notes. “It’s about taking your power back from a former lover and striding into the future. It gets in you and stays there.”

Beverley will take on her biggest ever UK tour to date, which has almost sold out already, performing twenty very special headline dates across the UK throughout October & November, to over 30,000 people. This past weekend she kicked off festival season headlining The Mighty Hoopla’s second stage. Back together with her live band, expect fun-filled nights where she will perform all of her classic hits, fan favourites along with brand new songs.

Beverley has had several Top 10 albums and sold over a million albums in the UK, with four gold-certified. Her most recent studio album Soulsville went straight into the UK Top 10.

In recent years, Wolverhampton born Knight has forged a formidable parallel career in theatre. Her West End debut was the starring role in The Bodyguard followed by leading the Tony winning Memphis The Musical. At the request of Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber she joined the cast of Cats, playing the iconic role of Grizabella. 2021 saw Beverley lead The Drifters Girl at the Garrick Theatre as the formidable manager of soul group The Drifters, which was Olivier nominated Best New Musical, and Beverley for Best Actress.

Starring to huge acclaim as Emmeline Pankhurst in Sylvia at The Old Vic, Beverley won Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Musical at the Olivier Awards in April. The show also received nominations for Best New Musical and Best Choreographer.

A British treasure, Beverley was awarded an MBE in 2007 for services to British music and charity, has won three MOBO Awards, been nominated for Best Female at the Brit Awards 3 times, Best Actress at the Olivier Awards twice, and Best Female at the prestigious Mercury Music Prize.

Beverley was also recently on screen Saturday nights as a panel judge in ITV’s talent series Starstruck. Broadcasting work beyond this hit show include presenting 4 series of Radio 2 show ‘Beverley’s Gospel Nights’ and two series of the BBC1 show Just the Two of Us. She recently appeared in the all star cast of Amazon’s new live action movie Cinderella (2021) with Camilla Cabello in the title role.

“I feel as though I am about to step into a whole new level of wonder because I have come into my power”, concludes Beverley. “My career is not a big shiny billboard poster that gets replaced with the next star in waiting. Mine is a novel, and I just entered the Fifth and most exciting chapter of it.”

Epic 10-minute Fourth Track From Upcoming Album Now Available

Short Film Directed by Tony Oursler Live Now

But Here We Are Out June 2nd

“Hey kid, what’s the plan for tomorrow?

Where will I wake up?”

Foo Fighters introduce you to ‘The Teacher’, the epic 10-minute fourth track to be released in advance of the band’s 11th album, But Here We Are, out June 2 on Roswell Records/Columbia Records.

‘The Teacher’ complements the primal scream of ‘Rescued’, the bittersweet punk/pop-tinged rock of ‘Under You’ and the serene dream pop of ‘Show Me How’ with a bold new dimension of Foo Fighters’ sonic identity.

Both the longest song the band has ever recorded and arguably the shortest 10 minutes in rock history, ‘The Teacher’ builds from an understated Dave Grohl and guitar intro, layering impressionistic lyrical refrains onto a series of crescendos, peaks and valleys, before saying goodbye in a blaze of audio overload. A rock epic in the truest sense, ‘The Teacher’ is like nothing the band has done before, yet instantly identifiable as Foo Fighters.

In other previously unexplored territory for Foo Fighters, ‘The Teacher’ scores a short film directed by multimedia artist Tony Oursler. Known since the late 1970s for his body of work spanning video, sculpture, installation, performance, and painting, Oursler came to Foo Fighters’ attention via his work with David Bowie, specifically his video for Bowie’s landmark January 2013 single ‘Where Are We Now?’.

The resultant collaboration is a beautifully disorienting array of emotive non-linear imagery that transcends boundaries of time and space in its telling of the enigmatic tale of ‘The Teacher’. If ‘The Teacher’ is Foo Fighters as you’ve never heard them, Oursler’s visual interpretation is certainly Foo Fighters as they’ve never been seen before – learn for yourself at https://foofighters.lnk.to/TheTeacher/youtube

Listen to “The Teacher” HERE, watch the short film directed by Tony Oursler HERE, and pre-order But Here We Are on your choice of Black Vinyl, White Vinyl, CD or cassette HERE.

Foo Fighters are currently on tour and will christen the Atlantis in Washington DC tonight. For a complete list of dates, go to: https://foofighters.com/tour-dates/

“Try and make good with the air that’s left

Counting every minute

Living breath by breath

Goodbye.”

TAKEN FROM HER HIGHLY ANTICIPATED

NEW ALBUM STORIES FROM A ROCK N ROLL HEART

OUT JUNE 30TH ON HIGHWAY 20 RECORDS/THIRTY TIGERS

LISTEN HERE

NEW MEMOIR DON’T TELL ANYONE THE SECRETS I TOLD YOU

RECEIVES CRITICAL PRAISE AND DEBUTS AT

#5 ON NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLERS

Acclaimed, pioneering artist Lucinda Williams has released the stunning new song ‘Where the Song Will Find Me’ from her triumphant album Stories from a Rock n Roll Heart (out June 30th via Highway 20 Records/Thirty Tigers).

In November 2020, William suffered a stroke that partially impaired some of her motor skills on the left side of her body. Through hard work and sheer determination, she learned to walk again, but her ability to play the guitar has not yet returned, which is how the multi-Grammy Award-winner wrote the beloved songs in her revered canon.

Complete with a beautiful orchestral arrangement by Lawrence Rothman, ‘Where the Song Will Find Me’ offers an emotional and inspirational message from Williams that despite any setbacks, she will always continue to make music, by any means necessary. Listen to “Where the Song Will Find Me” HERE.

Stories from a Rock n Roll Heart was produced by Williams, Tom Overby and Ray Kennedy, who also engineered. The album includes guest backing vocals by Jeremy Ivey, Jesse Malin, Buddy Miller, Angel Olsen, Margo Price, Patti Scialfa, Bruce Springsteen and Tommy Stinson.

In April, Williams released her long-awaited memoir Don’t Tell Anybody The Secrets I Told You (Crown, a division of Penguin Random House LLC) to wide critical acclaim. The memoir debuted at #5 on the New York Times Bestsellers and was was featured on the cover of the New York Times Sunday Styles. Williams was featured at Vanity Fair, NPR All Things Considered, The Associated Press, Esquire, The Nation and much more including a recent sit down on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Williams will be the subject of an upcoming feature segment on CBS Sunday Morning.

About Swedish House Mafia:
In 2008, a trio of individual artists, DJs, and producers united to unassumingly break every rule in electronic music. Ensconced in flames, Swedish House Mafia—Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Axwell—infused house music with swaggering hip-hop beat-craft, rock ‘n’ roll attitude, and big screen-worthy grandeur brought to life on stage with one legendary live show after another. Ushering dance music culture out of the warehouses and clubs and into arenas and stadiums on an unrivaled scale, it would be nearly impossible to imagine how the genre might’ve shaken out without them. They became the first electronic act to headline (and sell out) Madison Square Garden in 2011 and the first to grace the main stage at Coachella in 2012. They garnered two consecutive GRAMMY® nominations in the category of “Best Dance Recording” for the platinum “Save the World” in 2012 and quintuple-platinum Hot 100 Top 10 hit “Don’t You Worry Child” in 2013. Rolling Stone described their meteoric rise as “redefining rave culture, and NME christened them “the rockstars of the dance music world. The marathon record-breaking One Last Tour paved the way for a five-year break before they returned as surprise headliners of Ultra Music Festival’s 20th anniversary in 2018. Following the Save The World Reunion Tour a year later, this holy trinity of electronic music gods focused on the one thing they hadn’t done yet, making their 2022 full-length debut album Paradise Again [Republic Records]. Their return was announced with the cover of Billboard and garnered immediate press and a late-night television performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon followed with a trending hit “A Moth To A Flame” featuring The Weeknd. Upon arrival, it bowed in the Top 10 of seven global charts, seizing #1 on the Billboard Top Dance/Electronic Albums Chart and #1 on the UK Dance Albums Chart. Moreover, it attracted some of the highest critical praise of the group’s storied career thus far from Pitchfork, NME, and more. It only hints at more to come.

Featuring Northern Irish Country Star Catherine McGrath
WATCH VIDEO HERE

Recently dubbed as the “Queens of British country music” by the Express, Ward Thomas today release a stunning reworking of their stirring song ‘If It All Ends Today’ featuring Northern Irish country star Catherine McGrath. Watch the video HERE

‘If It All Ends Today’ puts to music the feeling of recognising the impermanence of the world whilst simultaneously embracing everything the world has to offer. It’s described by Lizzy as being “all about those moments when the world is feeling overwhelming and all you want to do is reach out to that person who brings you peace and reassurance.”

Catherine McGrath adds; “I always have a fun time with Catherine and Lizzy, so I was so happy to be asked to join them on this track from their latest album. The UK country scene has always been such a warm and supportive community and to be collaborating with such great artists and people makes me so proud to be part of it.”

Choosing McGrath to feature on this duet was a no-brainer, Lizzy says of working with her; “we are so thrilled to have Catherine McGrath sing on this song with us as not only has she become a great friend but we’ve always admired her as an artist and love her music!”

The original of ‘If It All Ends Today’ arrived on the girls’ fifth studio album Music In The Madness, an album described by The Mirror as ‘refreshingly heartwarming’ for exploring what truly matters when faced with crisis. Themes of family, love and the power of music restore a sense of hope in a time of turmoil.  Lyrics of ‘Nothing gold can stay/ But you’re the one I want, love/ If it all ends today’ repeated in this single certainly reflect upon this message.

A 25-year-old singer-songwriter, Catherine McGrath has already accumulated over 45 million streams. Her debut album Talk Of This Town hit #13 in the UK Album Chart, receiving widespread critical acclaim, including the backing of Sir Elton John, who praised her “extraordinary song writing ability and an amazing voice”. She has also supported Michael Bublé (to 11,000 people at The O2 Arena), Maren Morris, Dan + Shay, Kelsea Ballerina, Picture This and Jamie Lawson. Catherine is preparing to release a new EP in Autumn 2023.

Ward Thomas recently took on a rapturous headline tour of the UK, and at 29, Catherine and Lizzy are on a roll and already working on a sixth album which they plan to release before they turn 30. “We look up to artists like Brandi Carlile, whose career has grown organically. Of course, we love success, but the artists we admire are the ones who keep showing up and don’t sell out. We do what we do because we love music and we have something to say.”

For as long as that continues, there will be Ward Thomas.

Music industry icon Sir Rod Stewart has announced his next release: Wolfie’s Whisky, a blended Scotch whisky that embodies his reputation as ‘the Cockney Scotsman’ and pays tribute to his Scottish heritage and cheeky chappie image.

Designed to reflect Rod’s rock ‘n’ roll heritage with subtle nods to Americana, Wolfie’s was inspired by the legendary musician’s early hell raising days with the Faces.

“Wolfie’s is a rascal of a thing and with just a sip the whisky takes you back to the good old days. Fine-tuned and perfectly balanced, Wolfie’s is a delight both over ice and mixed into a favourite cocktail,” says Rod.

“It’s a fine tipple, whether you’re partying with friends, celebrating a Celtic win or reminiscing with family. For me, Wolfie’s depicts the carefree behaviour of my more mischievous days and the excitement of what life still has to offer – let the good times roll!”

Wolfie’s Blended Scotch Whisky (40% ABV) is wonderfully balanced with flavours of warming cinnamon, fresh vanilla and baked apple. The whisky has a delicate taste of sweet peat and pears in syrup before finishing with candied citrus peels and a gentle oak spice.

With its unique blend of rock ‘n’ roll roots, Americana and Scottish heritage, Wolfie’s is bringing something new to the Scotch whisky market. Distilled on the banks of Loch Lomond by an expert team with decades of whisky-making know-how and an all-Scottish team behind the brand, Wolfie’s truly has Scotland at its heart.

Referencing the opening track from Rod’s 1991 album Vagabond Heart, the lyrics ‘Rhythm of My Heart’ are emblazoned on the base of the bottle. Rod’s recording of the song was a nod to his own Scottish heritage having adapted the melody from the traditional folk song, Loch Lomond.

Wolfie’s will be available to buy online for £35 from Monday 19 June and in the meantime fans are encouraged to sign up at www.wolfiesiscoming.com to gain access to an exclusive presale from Friday 16 June. They’ll also be in with the chance of finding one of 1,000 bottles of Wolfie’s that have been signed by Rod.

With the initial limited run of bottles marked as first releases, Wolfie’s will initially be available to buy online across the UK and Europe before launching in America in July as Rod embarks on his North American tour.

About Wolfie’s Whisky:

  • Launching in 2023, Wolfie’s Whisky is a 40% ABV blended Scotch whisky distilled in partnership with Rod Stewart
  • Wolfie’s blended Scotch whisky is distilled, blended, and bottled by Loch Lomond Distillery
    • Available online from 19 June, Wolfie’s ships to the following countries: United Kingdom, Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland
  • Wolfie’s Whisky will launch in the USA later this year

The Sacred Egg-Directed Clip Explores Dynamics of Interpersonal Communication

PLAY LONDON’S TWICKENHAM STADIUM ON JUNE 17TH

Depeche Mode has unveiled the starkly beautiful and intensely provocative video for ‘Wagging Tongue,’ the second visual interpretation of a track from its universally acclaimed 15th studio album, Memento Mori (Columbia Records).

Directed by The Sacred Egg with creative direction by longtime Depeche Mode collaborator Anton Corbijn, the ‘Wagging Tongue’ video is set in a cinematic universe where rules governing interpersonal communication are strict and surreal. ‘Wagging Tongue’ tells the story of a young couple from a small remote village who join their neighbours for a confrontational ritual—one that draws in participants from all walks of life: lawyers, businessmen, priests, policemen, even Martin Gore and Dave Gahan of Depeche Mode.

The result is thought-provoking, visually compelling and perfectly complementary to the song, of which Rolling Stone coincidentally wrote “the words have a way of sticking in your brain” and Pitchfork praised as “the dawn of a new dynamic.” Immerse yourself in the underwater words and world of “Wagging Tongue,” HERE.

The Gore/Gahan co-written ‘Wagging Tongue’ has been a nightly highlight of Depeche Mode’s Memento Mori World Tour, currently in the midst of a Europe/UK stadium run that began May 16th in Amsterdam. The band will return to North America for the tour’s third leg, which kicks off September 21st with the first of a trio of shows at Mexico City’s Foro Sol stadium, and concludes with a series of four Los Angeles shows taking place December 10th and 12th at the Kia Forum and December 15th and 17th at the Crypto.com Arena.

Further Live Appearances This Summer at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Dundee, Reading & Leeds Festivals, Japan’s Summer Sonic Festival & Manchester Heaton Park (supporting The Courteeners)

After blasting through stereos worldwide last night as Clara Amfo’s Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1, one of the UK’s most exciting bands, The Snuts, make a rapturous return with new single ‘Gloria’. It’s their first release on the band’s newly set up label Happy Artist Records – via The Orchard – as they make a break away from their previous label home.

Mixed by Spike Stent (Harry Styles, Madonna, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Muse, Oasis) and produced by singer Jack Cochrane and longtime collaborator Scotty Anderson, the track is an anthemic, summer song for the masses, which finds the beautiful in the everyday. ‘Gloria’ arrives ahead of the band’s performance at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Dundee on Saturday 27th May. Listen to ‘Gloria’ HERE.

“This song is all about finding the beauty and romance in the most normal of things.” explains frontman Jack Cochrane. “As a band, our lives have never really transformed out of the boundaries of normal everyday existence, and we truly value the thoughts and feelings of the average person and how our lives look. We’ve never been more excited to present a song by The Snuts that captures such a raw and genuine intention, whilst making you want to get up and dance with your loved ones.”

The Snuts are well and truly into their stride. With chart-topping and top 3 albums under their belts, songs that attack subjects affecting the youth of today, and an arsenal of adoring fans up and down the country, these four lads from Whitburn, West Lothian, are well on their way to being one of the most vital bands of recent years.

Set to play their biggest headline shows to date at SWG3 in Glasgow in July, The Snuts kick off the summer at Radio 1’s Big Weekend and will play the main stage at Reading & Leeds Festivals in August, as well as making two trips across the pond to tour the US & Australia.

NEW ALBUM SPECTRAL LINES OUT NOW

“Richly atmospheric, sonically adventurous”The Sun
“Josh Ritter is like a more open-hearted version of Leonard Cohen. His lyrics draw on the divine but he seems to see a little heaven in all the people around him”Paste

Following the release of his stunning new album Spectral Lines last month, Josh Ritter has announced he will be returning to the UK and Europe later this year for a run of very special shows. Connecting back with The Royal City Band, Josh Ritter will celebrate 20 years of his acclaimed third album Hello Starling.

When I wrote ‘Hello Starling’, I was playing coffee shops and open mics. By the time it came out, I was on tour with the Frames and Joan Baez. I was practically living on the road, hearing my songs on the radio for the first time, staying up all night, touring Europe, doing all these things I had only dreamt of. It was a grand time,” Josh reminisces of the album. “For the 20th anniversary of the album, the band and I will be taking a swing through Hello Starling. We’ll play the entire album in full, front to back, and then play a bunch more music. It just felt right to try this out first in Ireland, England, and the Netherlands, where I spent so much time in 2003 “

Produced by Ritter’s longtime collaborator Sam Kassirer (Lake Street Dive, Langhorne Slim), Spectral Lines finds Ritter expanding beyond the bounds of his previous work to create a record both atmospheric and profound. Dedicated to the memory of his mother, Ritter searches for commonality across these ten seamless tracks by exploring life’s most universal ideas—love, devotion and what it means to be connected, to both each other and to ourselves.

One of today’s most thoughtful and prolific voices, Ritter has released ten studio albums to date including 2019’s widely acclaimed, Fever Breaks, of which NPR Music praised, “He remains a hydrant of ideas while embodying an endless capacity for empathy and indignation, often within a single song.” In addition to his work as a musician, Ritter is also a national best-selling author, having released two novels to date: 2011’s Bright’s Passage and 2021’s The Great Glorious Goddamn of It All, for which the film rights have recently been optioned for development
