Supporting Noah Kahan On His UK Tour

November 10th – 21st

2024 UK Dates Also Announced

Exciting new American band Tiny Habits release their superb new single ‘Small Enough’ – listen here. The band formed in Boston, Massachusetts at the start of 2022 after Maya Rae, Cinya Khan and Judah Mayowa met while at the Berklee College of Music. All three are accomplished singers and songwriters.

Recorded at Sound City Studios in Los Angeles, California with producer Tony Berg (boygenius, Taylor Swift, Phoebe Bridgers), ‘Small Enough’ was written by the band and showcases their lush harmonies and intimate vocals on this bittersweet gem.

The ‘Small Enough’ music video is directed by Weston Borg (The War On Drugs) and marks the band’s first time together behind the camera. Filmed in Boston where the band first met, it’s a wink to their roots, but suggests that while change is inevitable, it is always nice to reminisce on the past.

Tiny Habits have been touring Europe as special guests to US singer songwriter-sensation Noah Kahan and start the UK leg of the tour tonight in Leeds. They also play two shows in London at the 02 Kentish Town Forum November 21st and 22nd before headlining their own show at XOYO on November 22ndtickets here.

They return to the UK next year for their own headline shows in May, including London’s KOKO,

The band first received recognition and early support from a diverse bunch of artists including the late, great David Crosby, Marcus Mumford, Phoebe Bridgers, and Noah Kahan

Tiny Habits’ first two singles ‘pennies (voice memo)’ & ‘hemenway’ were released at the end of 2022, and were met with an overwhelming response, garnering over 1 million plays across all digital streaming platforms in the first couple of months.

Their debut EP Tiny Things was released in April 2023. Earlier this year, the band opened for Gracie Abrams across North America, followed by their own sold-out US tour.

Without a doubt, Tiny Habits look set to be one of the breakout acts for 2024.

Catch them while you can!

New Album Released February 23rd 2024

Announces 5 Intimate Shows
Including Three Shows At London’s St Pancras Old Church

One of the country’s most underrated singer-songwriters, John Bramwell, returns to the fray with a remarkable new album The Light Fantastic, out February 23rd via Townsend Music.

Anyone who has heard John’s work with seminal Manchester band I Am Kloot, will be cheered by the news of this impending release. Nominated for a Mercury Prize in 2010 for their acclaimed Sky At Night album, I Am Kloot never quite received the widespread success their music deserved.

This new album is a masterclass in emotionally charged and melodically driven tunes for the adventurous. All 12 tracks were written by John except for ‘Nobody Left But You’ which he co-wrote with album producer Dave Fidler.

After both my Mum and Dad died, I started writing these songs to cheer myself up,” John admits with typical candour. “The themes are taken from my dreams at the time. Wake up and take whatever impression I had from what I could remember of my dream and write that.

Despite the sentiment, the songs are surprisingly uplifting. And will no doubt sound great live.

John Bramwell & The Full Harmonic will play the following shows next year. Tickets are on sale now.

New EP Part II – Nightmares & Ice Cream

Out December 5th

Following the release of stunning EP opener ‘Rabid Dog’ last month, Palace return with their brand new single ‘Make You Proud’. The track is the second cut from their forthcoming EP Part II – Nightmares & Ice Cream, which is out December 5th on Fiction Records.

A beautifully bewitching single, the guitar driven ‘Make Your Proud’ showcases lead singer Leo’s captivating ability with words. “‘Make You Proud’ is about insecurity in new love,” Leo said of the single. “Questioning oneself constantly and overthinking at every turn – but still having this incredible patience and support from a partner.” Listen to ‘Make You Proud’ HERE

Produced by Adam Jaffrey (Loyle Carner, Tom Misch, Yussef Dayes) at Unwound Studios, Nightmares & Ice Cream EP sees the band with a sharp new focus. Beautifully hypnotic, mesmerising and full of raw emotion, the EP is the band at their very best. “‘Nightmares & Ice Cream’ is another snapshot of life and moments of the past year,” Leo said of the EP. “It’s Part II of the journey, and one that’s felt very significant. It’s a hazy chapter of intense reflection to past events, but also a sort of purgatory where we stumble forward, stunned, trying to find some kind of grip on reality.”

Childhood friends Palace released their acclaimed debut EP Lost In The Night in 2014, followed by the Chase The Light EP the year after. Now with three albums under their belt, So Long Forever, Life After and 2022’s Shoals and a mass of adoring fans across the world, the band look set to close 2023 on a high.

Palace are Leo Wyndham, Matt Hodges and Rupert Turner.

BIGGEST HEADLINE SHOW TO DATE

MIDDLESBROUGH RIVERSIDE STADIUM, UK

SATURDAY 8TH JUNE 2024

PLUS GUESTS MCFLY & LAURAN HIBBERD

TICKETS GO ON SALE FRIDAY 10TH NOVEMBER AT 9AM VIA HERE

BRAND NEW ALBUM BITTER SWEET LOVE

OUT JANUARY 26TH, 2024 ON COLUMBIA RECORDS

Middlesbrough-born and Brit Billion-certified artist James Arthur has today announced a massive homecoming show at Riverside Stadium on Saturday 8th June 2024. This will be James’ biggest headline show to date and will see him joined by special guests McFly and Lauran Hibberd. Tickets go on sale Friday 10th November at 9am via here.

The news follows the announcement of his fifth, brand new studio album Bitter Sweet Love – out January 26th, 2024, on Columbia Records and a major world tour, in which multiple dates including UK arenas, sold out instantly.

James is one of the world’s biggest streaming artists, with over 38 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. James has scored 4 top 10 albums, with 2016’s Back From The Edge hitting the Number 1 spot and over his career has collaborated with the likes of Anne-Marie, Sigala, Rudimental, Marshmello & many more.

‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ became his breakthrough hit in the US. It was officially the UK’s most streamed song in 2016 and has gone on to be enjoyed via 4 billion streams while the song’s official video has achieved 1.5 billion views on YouTube. Earlier this year, the track became his first RIAA Diamond Single with 10 million certified units – making James one of just 100 recipients of an RIAA Diamond Single certification in the programme’s history.

Other huge hit singles include: ‘Impossible’, ‘Can I Be Him’, ‘Sun Comes Up’, ‘Naked’, ‘Empty Space’, ‘Rewrite The Stars’, ‘Falling Like the Stars’, ‘Train Wreck’ and ‘Lasting Lover’, which are all certified platinum records. The song ‘Cars Outside’ off the new album is currently becoming another global hit for James.

Now James returns to Middlesbrough to celebrate his roots with a very special homecoming show. James said:

“It’s truly unbelievable. I don’t think that I can put it into words. As someone who came to the Riverside as a young lad with a season ticket and walked through the turnstiles, it’s just crazy to think that people are going to be walking through the turnstiles to watch me perform. It’s very much like the end of a movie, a full circle moment.”

“It has been bit of a pipe dream of mine to play my team’s ground; I’m really honoured.”

Tickets go on sale Friday 10th November at 9am via here. VIP packages are available via www.sjm-vip.com

James will also play the following UK arena dates next year. Remaining tickets are sale on here.

New Single ‘Freaking Out’ – Out Now

April/May UK Headline Tour Announced
Includes London’s Eventim Apollo – May 7th, 2024

After becoming 2019’s biggest UK-signed selling artist, with a number 1 debut album, an international hit single in ‘Leave A Light On’, three million worldwide album sales and over four billion global streams in tow, Tom Walker makes his hard-fought return with brand new studio record, I Am, out May 31st, 2024.

Where previously, Tom became known for powerful accounts of other people’s stories, including a friend’s battle with drugs (‘Leave A Light On’), and articulating his own relatable feelings for his now wife (‘Just You & I’); he now finds himself writing about his own personal struggles and anxieties, creative challenges, sadness and moments of despair. It is a sometimes visceral account of who Tom Walker is in 2023, hence the title: I Am.

I Am is a culmination of me trying to figure out who I am for the last four years.” explains Tom. “This record is a snapshot of what’s been going on in my life, and what’s been happening around me – what’s made me happy or sad, ecstatic or miserable.”

The first taste of new music came last month with the rallying cry comeback single ‘Burn’, which took a swipe at his record label over urgent, hammering beats. Today sees second offering ‘Freaking Out’ (listen here) – a huge song nailed with a dream team of producers Fraser T. Smith (Adele, Stormzy) and Stuart Price (Madonna, The Killers). It’s a personal cry for help which tackles social anxiety and addresses the re-learning of how to be himself and the creative artist forcibly stalled by Covid.

After writing, and binning, a plethora of new tracks, an exhausted Tom subsequently headed out to Los Angeles to write with the McDonough brothers, Toby Gadd, Ryan Daly & Castle, who’s credits between them include Beyonce, Joji, Khalid, Mimi Webb and John Legend. The trip reignited the excitement and love of trying brand new things.

The results speak for themselves. As well as ‘Freaking Out’ and ‘Burn’, there’s ‘Head Underwater’, a soulful rhythmic pop anthem with a soaring vocal that, again, sounds like a whole new Walker. For ‘Holy Ghost’, think: Hozier produced by Labrinth – hymnal, electronic soul, and finally, a mention for ‘Lifeline’. No one outside Tom’s inner-circle will be hearing this towering ballad until next year – the emotions behind it are too raw. It’s a searingly emotional tribute to a friend who died by suicide in March.

Make sure to catch Tom on your TV screens on November 11th, where he will appear on the latest series of Later…with Jools Holland, performing ‘Burn’ and ‘Freaking Out’.

Looking ahead, as Tom succinctly puts it; I will die for these songs. It’s the first time in a long time I’ve felt like that. You’ve got to ignore what everyone else wants from you, and you’ve got to back yourself.”

And with that, welcome to the exciting, limitless next phase of Tom Walker. A man who knows where he’s headed: to arena-scale songs with molecular-level heart.

FEATURES COLLABORATIONS WITH QUESTLOVE, BABYFACE, & MORE

INCLUDES CHLOE’S SIGNATURE POP-CLASSICAL ARRANGEMENTS OF FESTIVE FAVOURITES

‘DANCE OF THE SUGAR PLUM FAIRY’– WATCH HERE

CHLOE PUTS A POP TWIST ON TCHAIKOVSKY’S CLASSIC THEME FROM THE NUTCRACKER BALLET

In the last 12 months alone, pop-classical virtuoso Chloe Flower has performed for the President of the United States at the Kennedy Center Honors, accompanied Lil Baby on Saturday Night Live, and teamed up with Mimi So and Daniel Martin to design a ring for AAPI Month—spending much of this time behind one of Liberace’s pianos in couture high fashion pieces. What better way to cap off an unbelievable year than with the release of her first-ever holiday album, Chloe Hearts Christmas, available TODAY from Sony Music Masterworks.

With Halloween in the rear-view now, there’s no better way to get in the holiday spirit than with Chloe Hearts Christmas. Listen HERE.

The queen of pop-classical has reimagined, reinvented, and reinvigorated 17 seasonal classics with her own “popsical”—pop-meets-classical—spin. As such, she breathes new life into traditional melodies, beloved standards, contemporary pop hits, and holiday soundtrack staples. Chloe Flower doesn’t unwrap these soon-to-be holiday staples alone though. Academy® Award- and GRAMMY® Award-winning icon and The Roots Co-Founder Questlove appears on four tracks, including “Blue Christmas,” “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “The Christmas Waltz, and “Jingle Bell Rock.Meanwhile, Chloe’s mentor and legendary producer and songwriter Babyface co-produced her take on “Carol of the Bells.

Debuting today alongside the album release is the official music video for “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” filmed at the iconic New York hotel, The St. Regis, with Korean director and photographer Peter Ash Lee – WATCH HERE.

On the track, Chloe transforms the famous classical theme from The Nutcracker ballet into an epic orchestral piece fused with hip-hop beats – LISTEN HERE.  Of the video and track for “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy,” Chloe says, “This song feels like a dream to me; a fantasy. Like the music, the video plays with many different worlds, transporting you from dark to light.”

The release of Chloe Hearts Christmas marks a lifelong dream for pianist, composer and producer Chloe Flower, whose love of the season is no secret. “Everyone knows I’m obsessed with Christmas. It’s my favourite time of the year,” she says when asked about the album’s inception, which began in many ways, with last year’s release of her first-ever holiday EP, Christmas with Chloe Flower, which was an immediate success.

Now making her dreams into reality, Chloe Hearts Christmas arrives as a carefully curated mix of traditional classical pieces, beloved standards and carols, contemporary pop favourites and holiday film cues, each infused with Chloe’s signature “popsical” sound. Included within the expansive 16-track collection are orchestral selections from Tchaikovsky and Leontovych, beloved standards from Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, contemporary pop hits from BTS’s V, Ariana Grande and Sia, as well as seasonal favourites from Joni Mitchell and Ryuichi Sakamoto. The album also includes a number of selections from films including Anastasia, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Sound of Music and more, showcasing Chloe’s longtime love of the transportive power of cinematic music. A fierce advocate for representation in the music industry, Chloe was also careful in selecting tracks that spoke to her support of female artistry as well as her Asian-American heritage, with selections from V of BTS and songwriters like Joni Mitchell, Sia, Ariana Grande, Mariah Carey.

Acclaimed Companion Albums Strays & Strays II Out Now

After a captivating sold-out show at London’s Lafayette in August, Margo Price returns to the UK and Ireland for a run of dates in January 2024. Kicking off at Gorilla in Manchester on January 26th, Margo also plays the Old Fruitmarker in Glasgow and Vicar Street in Dublin, before the run culminates with a date at KOKO in London on January 30th. Tickets are on-sale November 3rd HERE.

I’m beyond excited to travel across the pond to both the UK and Ireland next year with my entire band,” Margo said of the shows. “The Pricetags and I have built a completely unique live experience that bring listeners both thoughtful songwriting and a psychedelic country rock show. It’s often imitated but never duplicated. No money back if you get your face melted.

Margo Price Plays the following dates:

January 2024

Fri 26th                        Manchester, Gorilla

Sat 27th                      Glasgow, Old Fruitmarket

Sun 28th                     Dublin, Vicar Street

Tues 3oth                   London, KOKO

Starting the year with the release of her acclaimed album Strays, which Sunday Times Culture called “Astounding” in their 4* Album Of The Week review and NME stating “it’s sonically brave and lyrically obstinate, a rare delight that stands out from its counterparts,” in a glowing 4* review, Margo Price released the album’s second part to critical acclaim in October.

Like Strays and its many “stoic pearls of wisdom” (Pitchfork), Strays II reveals more of what makes Margo Price so “unstoppable, unsinkable, uninhibited” (The New York Times). Surmounting loss, trauma, substance abuse, demons of self-worth and more, the songs of Strays have cemented her place as a singular storyteller, with so much to say but nothing to prove. Since the album’s release, Price has earned nominations for Artist of The Year, Album of The Year and Song of The Year (Change of Heart’) at the Americana Honors & Awards, tying for the most nominations of any single artist in 2023.

“Cult of Venus have all the tools and undoubted musical prowess to develop into one of the most intriguing outfits of this year.” — Line Of Best Fit

Today, the mysterious NYC artist Cult Of Venus shares their newest single ‘Time

Capsule,’ a revolution-minded reflection on the inescapable cycles of violence and the dimming horizons of peace, as well as on how one finds hope, empathy, and motivation amidst the inundation of media imagery and propagandist messaging.

Combining the desperation of prime PJ Harvey, the scorched-earth polemic of Savages, and electronic flourishes reminiscent of ANOHNI, ‘Time Capsule’ seethes with urgency — a fitting and affecting commentary on violent times and rising up against one’s own apathy and desensitisation. Listen to ‘Time Capsule’ HERE.

Cult Of Venus is an artist and activist whose music illustrates and illuminates the dystopian world we live in today, challenging the patriarchy and resonating with the divine feminine. Her on-the-ground work includes support for incarcerated women and environmental protest movements.

‘Time Capsule’ follows Cult Of Venus’s debut single Mountains,’

which Line Of Best Fit described as “eerily similar to what one would expect from a collaboration between Chvrches Lauren Maybury and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver fame.

November UK Headline Tour Announced

“A future megastar” – The Guardian

“Scottish indie star-in-waiting already mingling with the greats” – NME

Following the release of her debut mixtape Black Is The New Gold earlier this year, which has been shortlisted at the Scottish Album Of The Year Awards, one of 2023’s breakout stars Brooke Combe returns with her euphoric new single ‘Praise’. The track is the first to be taken from her forthcoming 2024 debut LP. Listen to ‘Praise’ HERE & watch a stunning live acoustic version HERE.

Produced by The Coral’s James Skelly and Jaidan Millar at the brand new Kempton Street Studios in Liverpool, ‘Praise’ is an empowering call to arms. Drenched in soul, the gospel influenced track still sees Brooke planted in her indie rock roots with her fierce vocal cutting deep as she takes back authority on this guitar driven anthem.

’Praise’ is about a few things. It touches on female empowerment and taking back control over my future,” Brooke said of the track. “I found myself in a situation where I started to feel almost like a puppet. Like I was being shaped into something I wasn’t and that just isn’t really who I am. I feel like it’s an all too familiar scenario, women in today’s society feeling pressured to toe the line. So here we are, demanding the praise and respect we deserve.

Following triumphant shows at Glastonbury, TRNSMT and Neighbourhood Festivals, Brooke heads out on a run of her biggest UK headline dates this November, including a show at London’s Dingwalls on November 30th. Tickets are on-sale HERE.

Brand new Ray Davies Mix of the 1974 studio track

New digital single and video, released 25th October

Taken From The Kinks ‘The Journey – Part 2’out 17th November via BMG

Second part of a special 60th anniversary anthology series by one
of the greatest rock bands of all time
2CD, 2LP, Digital & HD Digital
Includes new mixes by Ray Davies and previously unreleased tracks

The Kinks, one of the greatest ever British rock groups, today reveal a special new Ray Davies mix of the band’s 1974 studio track ‘Money Talks’, released as a new digital single and video on 25th October and taken from the second part of their career-defining anthology, The Journey Part 2 out 17th November on BMG. Listen to the track here. Watch the new track video here.

The new 2023 mix of this classic track is taken from The Kinks’ 1974 studio concept album Preservation Act 2, and has been mixed by Ray Davies and Matt Jaggar at Konk Studios in London. Ray Davies says the track is about “Moral decline”. Dave Davies comments: “Always amused me when we did it live. An exceptional song I think”. Drummer Mick Avory fondly recalls: “I have memories of playing this song on the US tours in the 70s. It’s a good old stomper for the stage.”

Following the release of The Journey – Part 1 in March this year (featuring hits such as ‘You Really Got Me’, ‘Waterloo Sunset’, ‘All Day And All Of The Night’, ‘Supersonic Rocket Ship’ and  ‘Dead End Street’) The Journey – Part 2, compiled by the band, will be available on 2CD, 2LP, Digital and HD Digital formats. The physical formats contain a booklet with band photos and track-by-track notes written by original members Ray Davies, Dave Davies and Mick Avory, sharing their memories of the time and weaving them into The Kinks’ incredible story. Preorder and Presave The Journey Part 2 here.

The Journey – Part 2 includes singles, B-sides, album tracks and, notably, six new Ray Davies mixes, three of which are previously unreleased live performances from the New Victoria Theatre, London in 1975. The other new digital single ‘Everybody’s a Star (Starmaker) (Live 1975, 2023 Mix)’, released on 27 September, can be heard here. The exciting new video for the track can be watched here.

Hits featured on the release include: ‘Lola’, ‘Sunny Afternoon’, ‘20th Century Man’, ‘Dedicated Follower Of Fashion’, ‘Till The End Of The Day’, ‘A Well Respected Man’, ‘See My Friends’, and ‘Everybody’s A Star (Starmaker)’.

The release is accompanied by a brand new Official Kinks merchandise collection that represents their 60 years as a group. The full range of merchandise is available from BSI Merch. Visit the store here.

The songs on The Journey – Parts 1 & 2, for the first time ever on a Kinks collection,  have been handpicked by Ray, Dave and Mick, curated according to themes inspired by the trials and tribulations of their journey through life together as a band since 1963. The tracks are taken from the classic original Kinks albums including: Face To Face, The Kink Kontroversy, Something Else, The Village Green Preservation Society, Lola Versus Powerman and The Moneygoround, Muswell Hillbillies, Everybody’s In Show-Biz, Preservation Acts 1 & 2 and A Soap Opera.

All tracks have been carefully remastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Studios in LA, overseen by Andrew Sandoval.

—————————

Formed in 1963 in Muswell Hill, North London, by brothers Ray and Dave Davies with their friend Pete Quaife, and joined by Mick Avory in early 1964, the band quickly established themselves as one of the epoch-defining groups of the 60s, with their impact still being felt around the world today.

The stats speak for themselves: The Kinks have sold over 50 million records worldwide and have been streamed over a billion times; they have achieved 5 US Top 10 singles, 9 US Top 40 albums, 22 UK Top 20 singles / EPs and 6 UK Top 10 albums, with four albums certified Gold. Among numerous honours, they have received the Ivor Novello Award for ‘Outstanding Service To British Music’ and have been inducted into the ‘Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame’ and the ‘UK Music Hall of Fame’. Multi-award winning, legendary frontman Sir Ray Davies is widely recognised as one of the greatest British songwriters.

Brand New Single Co-Written With Nile Rodgers ‘Feeling Alright’ – Out Now

April UK Headline Tour Announced
Includes 2 Special London Shows @ Troxy & Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace

Almost two decades in the game, and armed with an extensive back-catalogue of stadium belters, and record-breaking success, Kaiser Chiefs return with their brand new studio album, the aptly titled Kaiser Chiefs’ Easy Eighth Album, out March 1st 2024.

Produced by Amir Amor (Rudimental), Kaiser Chiefs’ Easy Eighth Album sees the band return with a fresh and bold new sound. From the Nile Rodgers co-write of new single ‘Feeling Alright’, to the frantic ‘Beautiful Girl’, horn-laden Kaiser Chiefs throwback ‘Job Centre Shuffle’ and joyous punch in the gut that is ‘Jealousy’, these ten tracks are a true statement of intent from a band that continues to deliver the goods again and again.

The album announcement arrives off the back of roaring success with previous releases ‘Jealousy’ & ‘How 2 Dance’, as well as a big UK arena headline tour at the end of last year.

On the band’s new single, Ricky Wilson explains: “On the first day with Nile Rogers, he said ‘what have you got?’ We searched through some jams we had and this was a song that stood out to him. The band loved playing it round and round, and it must be fun to play but we never really knew where it would find a home. Nile turned out to be the best estate agent and found it a home almost immediately. He also brought in Amir, who turned out to be our housemate for the entire record. A good place to start!”

Where 2019’s Duck straddled the tide between Northern-Soul euphoria and early ‘00s antithesis, 2024 will see Kaiser Chiefs stepping into a renewed spotlight; a hook-heightened universe in which Ricky Wilson, Andrew “Whitey” White (guitar), Simon Rix (bass), Keyboardist Peanut and Vijay Mistry on drums, come together to once again create what they craft best; breakthrough belters for the world’s dancefloor.

After the success of the band’s last UK arena tour, Kaiser Chiefs are changing things up and will return next year with a run of headline shows in April, including outdoor dates, as well as two special London shows at Troxy & Flippers Roller Boogie Palace (Apr 20th & 21st). They are not to be missed!

The band will play the following shows: Tickets Here
