New Album $10 Cowboy out April 26th via Son of Davy/Thirty Tigers

Plays Three Sold-Out Headline Shows @ London’s Hoxton Hall
May 6th, 7th & 8th

Today, Charley Crockett releases “Solitary Road,” a third preview from his upcoming album $10 Cowboy, out April 26th via Son of Davy/Thirty Tigers. For $10 Cowboy, Crockett wrote freely, over a two-month period, as he wound his way across the United States on the back of a tour bus. The resulting songs—raw, personal, vivid portraits of a country in transition—ended up being connected.

Crockett, who Rolling Stone dubbed “a must-see live performer,” will return to the capital in May, playing what will be three electric sold-out nights at London’s Hoxton Hall on May 6th, 7th & 8th. For further ticket info head HERE.

$10 Cowboy was recorded at Arlyn Studios in Austin, TX, produced by Crockett and his long-time collaborator Billy Horton. It was recorded live to tape, with anywhere from 6-12 musicians on each track, giving the songs the feel of a live performance. It’s a sound Crockett has been after for years. “The reason I cut it on tape is, when you get the right folks in the room, great players rise to the occasion. When that red light is on and the tape is rolling, you get the magic of a performance.”

It’s exactly what he achieved with $10 Cowboy. Regular bandmates Kullen Fox, Nathan Fleming, and Mario Valdez are joined by some of the genre’s most talented players—Rich Brotherton, Kevin Smith, Dave LeRoy Biller, Jason Lee Moeller, T. Jarrod Bonta and others, including a string quartet. Lauren Cervantes and Angela Miller sing on the album. While the musicianship and accompaniment are exquisite, they are also subtle, placed joyously, yet judiciously across the album.

NEW ALBUM, NEON PILL, OUT MAY 17TH VIA COLUMBIA RECORDS

45-DATE NORTH AMERICAN SUMMER TOUR KICKS OFF ON JUNE 20TH

Today, Cage The Elephant, the GRAMMY® Award winning rock band share their new single ‘Good Time’, off their forthcoming album Neon Pill out May 17th on Columbia Records. ‘Good Time’ follows recent singles from the new album including ‘Out Loud’ and ‘Neon Pill’.

Matthew Shultz shares about the new song “‘Good Time’ was one of those rare tracks that captivated me almost instantaneously.  The instrumentation hit so hard, with an energy that was so commanding, that it was almost as if I couldn’t have kept myself from writing something to it if I had wanted to. Very different from anything we had ever written before, and somehow it still felt relatively familiar in contrast to our prior works. It felt like visually the music was some strange monstrous alien creature thunderously marching and stumbling down a crowded street in the middle of a parade on a sweltering hot summer day or something weird like that. I wanted the vocals to dance around and play with that energy. To be potent and at the same time intuitive or a seemingly random mumbling. As though they were a frantically ranted broken confessional piece. To illustrate as best as possible, psychosis and the entanglement of the inner dialog that constantly circulates when in that state. At the same time, in a playful way, sarcastically proclaiming that it was all just a good time or perhaps more so allowing the sarcastic statement to remain open as more of  a question itself. A party song which beneath the surface, anthemic as it may be, might not be a party song at all.”

The new album finds the Kentucky-bred six piece—brothers Matthew Shultz [vocals] and Brad Shultz [guitar], Daniel Tichenor [bass], Jared Champion [drums], Nick Bockrath [lead guitar], and Matthan Minster [guitar, keys, backing vocals]— forging new musical ground, while maintaining their uncompromising creativity and wildly cathartic performances.

The album is available to pre-order on all formats here

From their humble beginnings in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Cage The Elephant have gone on to become one of the generation’s premier rock bands. They have earned dozens of Gold, Platinum, and Multi Platinum certifications, and tallied over 5 billion streams. Their previous two albums Tell Me I’m Pretty [2015] and Social Cues [2019] garnered consecutive Best Rock Album GRAMMY® Awards. They are maybe most celebrated for their live show. The stage is their home turf, where they are most comfortable, and their performances, ecstatic and unchained, as well as cathartic and soul bearing are what Neon Pill achieves in documenting.

Neon Pill, produced by John Hill, materialised during sessions at Sonic Ranch in El Paso, Electric Lady in New York, Sound Emporium in Nashville, Echo Mountain in North Carolina, and at Hill’s own studio in Los Angeles, and alchemized a season of tragedy and turbulence into the twelve tracks on their sixth full-length album. Nine months  into the pandemic, Matthew and Brad lost their father. The band weathered the back-to-back deaths of friends, while Matthew experienced depression and a mental breakdown, culminating in hospitalisation. Coming out on the other side, he learned quite a bit about himself, and gained a whole lot of strength and wisdom. Neon Pill came to life in the eye of the storm.

Cage The Elephant’s 45-date North American US tour, produced by Live Nation, will kick off on June 20 in Salt Lake City with shows in cities including Seattle, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City (full dates below), with support from Young The Giant & Bakar on most dates.  Tickets and VIP available for all dates are on sale now here

New Album I Wish You Way More Than Luck Out Now

Hot off the back of the release of their kaleidoscopic new album, I Wish You Way More Than Luck, pysch-pop four-piece Lo Moon have announced a 2024 winter UK & EU headline tour.

Kicking off at Luxor in Cologne, Germany, on the 30th October, the nine date UK & EU tour will also include the band’s biggest UK headline show to date at London’s Scala on November 7th. Pre-sale for the dates begins at 9:00am BST on Monday April 8th, with general sale at 9:00am BST on Friday April 12th from HERE.

Lo Moon Play The Following Dates:

October

Wed 30th Germany, Cologne, Luxor

Thu 31st Germany, Berlin, Frannz Club

November

Sun 3rd Ireland, Dublin, The Grand Social

Tue 5th UK, Glasgow, Saint Luke’s

Wed 6th Uk, Leeds, Brudenell Social Club

Thu 7th UK, London, Scala

Fri 8th UK, Manchester, Manchester Academy 3

Mon 11th Netherlands, Amsterdam, Bitterzoet

Tue 12th France, Paris, Badaboum

Co-produced by Lo Moon and Mike Vernon Davis (Ratboys, Pool Kids, Great Grandpa), and mixed by Alan Moulder (Depeche Mode, U2, Ride, The Cure, My Bloody Valentine, The Smashing Pumpkins), I Wish You Way More Than Luck revolves entirely around a single unifying idea, of life and personality forged from the revelatory moments of lived experience. Sonically bold and ambitious, fiercely literate and imagistic, the songs dance around their theme, not so much playing from track to track, as flowing through peaks and troughs of fervent emotion. It’s the singular work of a group of musicians whose confidence and abilities have not only scaled the heights of their ambitions but outstripped them.

“‘I Wish You Way More Than Luck’ is an album about leaving things behind—family, places, youth, relationships, time—and the traces that linger in the mind long after their physicality has receded,” the band says of the album. “The infinitely transient. What is music, or songwriting, anyway, but memory married to emotion. Feeling sustained. Echoes of lives lived and lives imagined.”

Lo Moon comprises bassist/keyboardist Crisanta Baker, guitarist Sam Stewart, drummer Sterling Laws, and Lowell, the group’s singer, and chief songwriter. The band has toured with everyone from The War on Drugs, Phoenix, Glass Animals and Air to London Grammar, Chvrches, Metric, Muna and The Lemon Twigs.

Jack Savoretti has reconnected with his roots and produced the simply stunning, new, first-ever-all-Italian-speaking album Miss Italia – out May 17th.

The album came at an important moment in Jack’s life, as his Italian father had recently passed away. Jack explains; My father was the anchor that tied me to Italy, the connection to my roots that I felt I was at risk of losing without him. So I went back to school. I didn’t want to imitate Italian music, I wanted to make it my own, combining everything I had learned over almost 20 years of experience from working in America, England, and Italy, merging Anglo-Saxon singer-songwriting with Italian to create something unique. I first had to learn to write in Italian before making MY album in Italian.”

The first single saw a beautiful collaboration between Jack and Italian superstar singer-songwriter Zucchero on the renowned track Senza una Donna (Without A Woman)’. Today comes the second installment in album opener ‘Come Posso Raccontare’listen here.

Jack explains; “Como Posso Raccontare is the first Italian song I ever wrote. My whole life I’ve struggled to explain my Britishness to Italians and my Italian-ness to the British. This is probably as close as I will get.”

Today also sees the unveiling of the album’s full tracklisting, which reveals special collaborations with the likes of Natalie Imbruglia, Miles Kane, Carla Morrison, Delilah Montagu & previously mentioned Italian superstar Zucchero.

Jack’s reputation as a singer-songwriter is perfectly epitomised by the kinds of collaborators he attracts, previously including cultural icons the likes of Bob Dylan, Kylie Minogue, Shania Twain, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Nile Rodgers among many others. However, and albeit being bi-lingual from birth, writing in Italian was uncharted territory for an artist who has been making and sold millions of albums for over sixteen years, releasing seven over this period, two of which have reached #1 in the UK album charts – Singing To Strangers in 2019 and his most recent release, Europiana, in 2021.

For Miss Italia Jack went on a journey that saw him hone his craft even further and in a completely different language. He sourced a who’s who from the contemporary songwriting scene in Italy. A group of fellow craftsmen and women who he could collaborate with and learn from. In doing so, he didn’t make an album in Italian, he made the new Jack Savoretti record which happens to be in Italian, and a perfect tribute to his late father.

The beautiful results are Miss Italia – an album that sounds every bit Jack Savoretti whilst also being a first.

Zócalo, Mexico City – Saturday, April 20th
280,000 Capacity Ceremonial Square

ANTICS 20TH ANNIVERSARY UK TOUR – NOVEMBER 2024

Play London’s Alexandra Palace – 8th November

Following in the footsteps of Pink Floyd, Paul McCartney & Rosalía, Interpol will play the biggest show of their career at Mexico City’s 280,000 capacity main ceremonial square, the Plaza de la Constitución, better known as Zócalo, on Saturday April 20th. The show comes at the request of the Mexican Secretary of Culture, Claudia Curiel de Icaza.

Billed as a free show, the gig will be an opportunity for Interpol to give back to their long and dedicated Mexican fanbase who have supported them impeccably over the years. Whether it be headlining both Corona Capital Mexico City in 2019 and Corona Capital Guadalajara in 2023 – the two biggest festivals in the country – or the band’s global album album launch for Marauder in Mexico City at Palacio de los Deportes in 2022, the country has always had a special place in Interpol hearts. The show will also serve as an opportunity to break down the socio barriers within Mexico’s population, whilst giving the country its biggest gig of the year so far.

Formed in New York City, Interpol quickly rose to prominence with their unique blend of post-punk, shoegaze, and dark wave influences. Their debut album, Turn on the Bright Lights, became a critical and commercial success, establishing the band as a major force in alternative music. Over the course of their career, Interpol have released seven critically acclaimed studio albums including The Other Side of Make-Believe in July 2022, selling over a million records worldwide.

To celebrate the anniversary of their seminal album Antics, Interpol recently announced a UK tour this November playing the album in full. Kicking off in Wolverhampton on November 1st, the run of dates will culminate with a show at London’s Alexandra Palace on Friday November 8th. Tickets available from www.gigsandtours.com / www.ticketmaster.co.uk

Released in 2004, Antics cemented Interpol’s position as one of the most influential bands of their generation. The album’s dark, atmospheric soundscapes and frontman Paul Banks’ signature vocals spawned iconic tracks such as ‘Slow Hands,’ ‘Evil,’ and ‘C’mere’ and Antics continues to resonate with fans worldwide, solidifying its place as a modern classic.

Out August 9th On Cooking Vinyl Records

First Single ‘Enjoy The Ride’ Out Now

Listen HERE & Watch HERE

Award-winning UK based genre-blending roots singer songwriter Elles Bailey returns with her stunning new album Beneath The Neon Glow. The album, Elles’ fourth studio album, comes out August 9th on Cooking Vinyl Records.

The first taste of Beneath The Neon Glow comes in the shape of album opener ‘Enjoy The Ride’. The last song written for the album, ‘Enjoy The Ride’ perfectly bottles road movie energy and blue skies positivity with an autobiographical lyric that Elles has lived and breathed. “Very early on in my career a friend told me that this musical path I had chosen doesn’t have a destination, it’s a journey, a very tough journey and it’s so important to enjoy the journey,” Elles said of the track. “I have based my whole career on this motto and ‘Enjoy the Ride’ is my autobiographical tribute to the journey I have taken. It’s not always easy, in fact most of the time it’s incredibly challenging, but I love it!” Listen to ‘Enjoy The Ride’ HERE & watch the official video HERE.

Beneath The Neon Glow sees Elles intertwine British roots, Americana and blues across ten powerfully, uplifting tracks. Produced by Dan Weller (Enter Shikari) and recorded with Elles’ exceptional and trusted live band, the album is an exploration of love’s myriad forms. Through lyrically vulnerable and brutally honest songwriting, Elles delves into the depths of heartbreak, the resilience of friendship, and the enduring power of love that spans a lifetime. From the fleeting moments to the love that withstands the test of time, she fearlessly navigates through the spectrum of human emotion, offering listeners an intimate glimpse into her journey.

“This album broke me apart and made me whole all at the same time and It’s been a real journey of discovery both melodically, lyrically, musically and personally with some of the songs written through some really dark moments and others during the highest of highs,” Elles said of Beneath The Neon Glow. “It’s definitely been the hardest, but most rewarding record I have made to date… I’m not gonna lie, trying to find the creative headspace to write a record, and then being present during the mixing process when you have a toddler and you’re trying to be the best parent you can be, is definitely a struggle, but it’s been worth it.”

With a top 50 album, achieved independently, an ever growing and adoring fanbase, as well as countless awards and a weekly radio show on Planet Rock already under her belt, Elles is ready to take things to the next step and there’s no better album for her to take that journey with.

I might be new to some people, but I have been around for quite a long while. I’m not here for a flash-in-the-pan moment. I want a long-term career in music. I love what I do. I love that I get to take it around the world. So if I can continue to do that, and just play to larger audiences and continue to grow, that’s exactly what I’ll do.”

SECOND ADVANCE TRACK FROM NEW ALBUM

ALL BORN SCREAMING OUT APRIL 26TH

‘Flea’ Track and Video

“You will be mine for eternity…”

So states St. Vincent with fiery resolve on ‘Flea’, the second advance offering from the three-time GRAMMY winner’s rapidly approaching seventh full-length studio album, All Born Screaming, out April 26th via Total Pleasure Records in partnership with Virgin Music Group.

Featuring St. Vincent on vocals and all instruments except drums and bass – handled respectively by Dave Grohl and Justin Meldal-Johnsen – ’Flea’ is raw desire made manifest atop a foundation of thundering grooves and searing guitar figures. Accompanied by a lyric video featuring behind the scenes footage from the All Born Screaming sessions, ‘Flea’ unveils another dimension of the album’s emotionally apocalyptic side one, following in the wake of of its predecessor ‘Broken Man’ – currently still amassing critical raves including:

“An absolute scorcher, Annie Clark’s new track is Sign o’ the Times-like in its mix of minimalism and menace.” – Sunday Times

‘‘Broken Man’ is an industrial menacing rock beast that sees Clark give an ominous intro to her new era as she prowls and warns: “On the street, I’m a king-sized killer – I can make your kingdom come”. NME

“Ruthlessly efficient, Dave Grohl-featuring monster ripper”The Guardian

“If this fiery track is anything to go by, we can expect plenty of self-reflection and thrashing guitars” – Daily Telegraph

“Brilliant… kinda like an industrial Prince that smolders and grooves before exploding into an almost Big Black inferno of sound.  Yes! It’s that good! – Louder Than War

“A future-blues rocker armed with a firecracker riff, snarling vocals and pummeling drums…that’s the good stuff” The New Cue

St. Vincent’s first self-produced record, All Born Screaming is an invitation to test the limits of what is possible–and to then keep going;  Brought to life with the aid of a highly curated roster of friends – Rachel Eckroth, Josh Freese, Dave Grohl, Mark Guiliana, Cate Le Bon, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, Stella Mogzawa and David Ralicke – the album is an unadulterated expression of St. Vincent’s singular vision.

Taken From Tom’s New Album I Am – Out Later This Year

April/May UK Headline Tour
Includes London’s Eventim Apollo – May 7th, 2024

Following his recent ambassadorial announcement, Tom Walker today partners with Suicide prevention charity, Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) for the release of his brand new, towering ballad Lifeline – a searingly emotional tribute to a friend he sadly lost.

Data shows that one in five people will have suicidal thoughts in their lifetime, with someone dying by suicide every 90 minutes on average in the UK, and ‘Lifeline’ explores the feelings and thoughts that race through your head when it affects the people closest to you – and questions what can be done to help. Watch the powerful video, produced in partnership with CALM HERE.

Tom says of the track; “Me and my friends lost one of our own suddenly and unexpectedly. It’s difficult to process grief.I felt we were all asking ourselves ‘what could I have done? What could I have said? What could have been done differently?’. Sometimes people make choices that are beyond your control and it’s hard to help someone who isn’t reaching out. My hope is that maybe by writing a song like this that addresses the stigma behind mental health, it might persuade people to think twice and ask for a helping hand when they’re really struggling. CALM is an amazing charity who help people when things get too much. I’m keen to spread the word about their amazing work in any way that I can.”

After becoming 2019’s biggest UK-signed selling artist, with a number 1 debut album, an international hit single in ‘Leave A Light On’, three million worldwide album sales and over four billion global streams in tow, Tom Walker is on his hard-fought return with brand new studio record, I Am – out later this year.

The back end of last year saw impeccable releases in ‘Burn’ & ‘Freaking Out’ – both of which Tom performed with aplomb on Later…With Jools Holland. Watch HERE & HERE. Most recently came ‘Head Underwater’ – a soulful pop anthem with a soaring vocal that welcomed in  a whole new Tom Walker.

Where previously, Tom became known for powerful accounts of other people’s stories, including a friend’s battle with drugs (‘Leave A Light On’), and articulating his own relatable feelings for his now wife (‘Just You & I’); on his new album he now finds himself writing about his own personal struggles and anxieties, creative challenges, sadness and moments of despair. It is a sometimes visceral account of who Tom Walker is in 2024, hence the title: I Am.

After writing, and binning, a plethora of new tracks, an exhausted Tom subsequently headed out to Los Angeles to write with the McDonough brothers, Toby Gadd, Ryan Daly & Castle, who’s credits between them include Beyonce, Joji, Khalid, Mimi Webb and John Legend. The trip reignited the excitement and love of trying brand new things.

The results speak for themselves. Welcome to the exciting, limitless next phase of Tom Walker. A man who knows where he’s headed: to arena-scale songs with molecular-level heart.

Rising Alt-pop trio Tiny Habits return with two new singles ‘Flicker’ and ‘I Don’t Have the Heart,’ out now on Mom+Pop. Listen to both singles HERE.

Read the band’s own words on the singles below:

“‘I Don’t Have the Heart,’ is about on one’s inability to express to another that they are not in a place to continue a relationship that is meant to exist only in the past. The song also touches on the difficulty of creating boundaries and more importantly, sticking to them.”

Dark Matter album packaging features light painting art by Alexandr Gnezdilov. Light painting is an artistic form of photography where images are created by adjusting a camera’s exposure for an extended period and using a light source, such as a flashlight, to “paint” in the dark. The album cover art was crafted using a large self-made kaleidoscope. Each letter visible on the cover was individually captured and handwritten midair with a specially designed flashlight to create the pearlescent effect. See more info on Alexandr Gnezdilov below.
