The queen of pop-classical has reimagined, reinvented, and reinvigorated 17 seasonal classics with her own “popsical”—pop-meets-classical—spin. As such, she breathes new life into traditional melodies, beloved standards, contemporary pop hits, and holiday soundtrack staples. Chloe Flower doesn’t unwrap these soon-to-be holiday staples alone though. Academy® Award- and GRAMMY® Award-winning icon and The Roots Co-Founder Questlove appears on four tracks, including “Blue Christmas,” “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “The Christmas Waltz,” and “Jingle Bell Rock.” Meanwhile, Chloe’s mentor and legendary producer and songwriter Babyface co-produced her take on “Carol of the Bells.”

Debuting today alongside the album release is the official music video for “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy” filmed at the iconic New York hotel, The St. Regis, with Korean director and photographer Peter Ash Lee – WATCH HERE.

The release of Chloe Hearts Christmas marks a lifelong dream for pianist, composer and producer Chloe Flower, whose love of the season is no secret. “Everyone knows I’m obsessed with Christmas. It’s my favourite time of the year,” she says when asked about the album’s inception, which began in many ways, with last year’s release of her first-ever holiday EP, Christmas with Chloe Flower, which was an immediate success.

Now making her dreams into reality, Chloe Hearts Christmas arrives as a carefully curated mix of traditional classical pieces, beloved standards and carols, contemporary pop favourites and holiday film cues, each infused with Chloe’s signature “popsical” sound. Included within the expansive 16-track collection are orchestral selections from Tchaikovsky and Leontovych, beloved standards from Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, contemporary pop hits from BTS’s V, Ariana Grande and Sia, as well as seasonal favourites from Joni Mitchell and Ryuichi Sakamoto. After a captivating sold-out show at London’s Lafayette in August, Margo Price returns to the UK and Ireland for a run of dates in January 2024. Kicking off at Gorilla in Manchester on January 26th, Margo also plays the Old Fruitmarker in Glasgow and Vicar Street in Dublin, before the run culminates with a date at KOKO in London on January 30th. The Kinks, one of the greatest ever British rock groups, today reveal a special new Ray Davies mix of the band’s 1974 studio track ‘Money Talks’, released as a new digital single and video on 25th October and taken from the second part of their career-defining anthology, The Journey Part 2 out 17th November on BMG. The new 2023 mix of this classic track is taken from The Kinks’ 1974 studio concept album Preservation Act 2, and has been mixed by Ray Davies and Matt Jaggar at Konk Studios in London. Ray Davies says the track is about “Moral decline”. Dave Davies comments: “Always amused me when we did it live. An exceptional song I think”. Drummer Mick Avory fondly recalls: “I have memories of playing this song on the US tours in the 70s. It’s a good old stomper for the stage.”

Following the release of The Journey – Part 1 in March this year (featuring hits such as ‘You Really Got Me’, ‘Waterloo Sunset’, ‘All Day And All Of The Night’, ‘Supersonic Rocket Ship’ and  ‘Dead End Street’) The Journey – Part 2, compiled by the band, will be available on 2CD, 2LP, Digital and HD Digital formats. The physical formats contain a booklet with band photos and track-by-track notes written by original members Ray Davies, Dave Davies and Mick Avory, sharing their memories of the time and weaving them into The Kinks’ incredible story. Almost two decades in the game, and armed with an extensive back-catalogue of stadium belters, and record-breaking success, Kaiser Chiefs return with their brand new studio album, the aptly titled Kaiser Chiefs’ Easy Eighth Album, out March 1st 2024.

Produced by Amir Amor (Rudimental), Kaiser Chiefs’ Easy Eighth Album sees the band return with a fresh and bold new sound. From the Nile Rodgers co-write of new single ‘Feeling Alright’, to the frantic ‘Beautiful Girl’, horn-laden Kaiser Chiefs throwback ‘Job Centre Shuffle’ and joyous punch in the gut that is ‘Jealousy’, these ten tracks are a true statement of intent from a band that continues to deliver the goods again and again.

The album announcement arrives off the back of roaring success with previous releases ‘Jealousy’ & ‘How 2 Dance’, as well as a big UK arena headline tour at the end of last year.

On the band’s new single, Ricky Wilson explains: “On the first day with Nile Rogers, he said ‘what have you got?’ We searched through some jams we had and this was a song that stood out to him. The band loved playing it round and round, and it must be fun to play but we never really knew where it would find a home. Nile turned out to be the best estate agent and found it a home almost immediately. He also brought in Amir, who turned out to be our housemate for the entire record. A good place to start!”

Where 2019’s Duck straddled the tide between Northern-Soul euphoria and early ‘00s antithesis, 2024 will see Kaiser Chiefs stepping into a renewed spotlight; a hook-heightened universe in which Ricky Wilson, Andrew “Whitey” White (guitar), Simon Rix (bass), Keyboardist Peanut and Vijay Mistry on drums, come together to once again create what they craft best; breakthrough belters for the world’s dancefloor.

Miles has also released the uplifting new single ‘Time Of Your Life’. “‘Time of Your Life’ is the first song I’ve ever written on the piano. These are the only chords I know on piano and I created this song about everyday life, growing old and remembering to embrace each day,” Miles said of the track. “We ain’t here for long so we have to have the time of our lives.” Listen HERE. 

Returning to his guitar hero best on One Man Band, Miles lays focus on big hooks and even bigger anthems. A deeply personal record, Miles returned to Liverpool to work on the album, finding himself reflecting on his journey. 

Recorded at the brand new Kempston Street Studios, Miles teamed up with longtime collaborator James Skelly of The Coral for production duties. Taking shape after Miles wrote the album’s infectious title-track and the hazy ‘Ransom’, he hooked up with Blossoms’ Tom Ogden and Keiran Shudall of Circa Waves, as well as Andy Burrow and regular writing partner Jamie Biles to put the tracks together.

Psyche-pop four-piece Lo Moon return with their first new music of 2023, ‘Evidence,’ thus confirming a new body of work is on the way for 2024. Speaking about the new song, Lo Moon’s Matt Lowell reveals, “’Evidence’ is a song about learning from your mistakes. A song that explores the innocence of young love and the journey we’re all on to become better partners, better people, and more emotionally available. Sometimes this takes time and looking back at who I was as an adolescent helped me realize who I’ve become as an adult. The arc of relationships can teach us a lot about who we are, even if it’s emotionally scarring to explore.” 

The new music follows the band’s recently concluded Los Angeles underplay residency, which saw them play four packed-to-the-rafters shows at Zebulon. Each night the band was joined with special guest appearances, week one; Lauren Mayberry of CHVRCHES (WATCH), Adam Granduciel from The War On Drugs on week two (WATCH), and most recently, the legendary Curt Smith from Tears For Fears (WATCH).

Depeche Mode unveils new dimensions of “My Favourite Stranger” with today’s digital release of five new remixes of the track hailed by Allmusic for its “pulsing menace” that “builds to discomfiting yet alluring levels of anxiety.” The latest series of reimaginations of a song from the universally acclaimed Memento Mori (Columbia Records), the newly released “My Favourite Stranger” remixes are by Boris Brejcha, Ela Minus, Long Island Sound, Sunken Cages and Al Wootton.

Meanwhile in the physical world, Depeche Mode announces the launch of the Memento Mori White Label Remix Series, a monthly drop of 12” vinyl singles building on the previously digital-only remixes of Memento Mori’s singles. The series will debut with the November 10 release of  “Ghosts Again,”  the first of these limited edition, individually numbered pieces. On the live front, the third leg of Depeche Mode’s Memento Mori World Tour continues to play to capacity crowds and ecstatic reviews. The band returns to New York tomorrow for an October 21 date at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, to be followed a week later by the tour’s second stop at Madison Square Garden on October 28. With recent performances described by NOLA.com as “the best of Depeche Mode from back then, delivered with all the power and passion of Depeche Mode now” and by the Houston Chronicle as “a sharing of spirits and energies, with each other and the crowd that so clearly still adores them,” the tour’s second North American run will continue in arenas across the continent before wrapping with a mid-December four-night stand in Los Angeles. The band will then return to Europe at the start of 2024 for an additional round of European dates following last summer’s sold-out stadium tour. See below for a full list of dates.

Pearl Jam’s own Ten Club features an exclusive 2LP Dreamsicle (translucent orange with white swirls) color variant vinyl and clear cassette. Pearl Jam arrived like a tidal wave with Ten in 1991, unassumingly emerging as one of the most popular bands in rock music and culture at large. With all eyes on them for a follow-up, the musicians opted to hold nothing back, cut deeper, and deliver a dark and dynamic 12-track opus in the form of Vs. Powered by classics such as the heartbreakingly introspective “Daughter,” acoustic nostalgia of “Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town,” primal punked-up fury of “Blood,” and downright raw catharsis of “Leash,” the album found the group at its rawest. From the explosion of “Go” through the poignant exhale of “Indifference,” it traced a journey through insecurity and uncertainty in the face of unwanted fame, stared down heavy themes such as abuse and neurodivergent learning disorders, raised a middle finger to America’s gun obsession and police brutality, tackled the topic of suicide fearlessly, and even managed to let light peek through the cracks with some of the group’s most treasured anthems ever.

In a 1993 Rolling Stone interview with Cameron Crowe, Eddie Vedder shared, “Music is an incredibly powerful medium to deliver a story by. But the best thing is, you have to have volume. You’re supposed to play it loud. I would do anything to be around music. You don’t even have to pay me.”

Vs. is the sound of a band who won’t compromise its message or meaning. It’s the moment the tide really turned…

It also notably marked the first of many albums to be helmed by longtime collaborator Brendan O’Brien, kicking off a now three-decade partnership with the producer. Upon arrival, Vs. smashed records by moving over 950,000 copies during its first five days in stores, eclipsing the sales of the rest of the entire Billboard Top 10 combined. It clinched #1 on the respective chart for five weeks, logging the longest run at the top for any Pearl Jam release to date. It held the record for “most albums sold first-week” for the next five years and set the record for “most first-week vinyl sales,” which would stand for the next 20 years.

Moving 10 million units worldwide, Vs. has since gone 7x-platinum in the States. Meanwhile, “Daughter” just reached RIAA platinum status, while “Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town” has gone gold.

Retrospectively, Rolling Stone hailed, “Pearl Jam emerged victorious with Vs., an album that still stands as one of the strongest records of their long and storied career. Looser, heavier and angrier than their debut, Vs. found the band exploring new sounds and dynamics.” Billboard proclaimed, “To date, the sophomore set that proved the band could do things its own way — a tactic that directly helped make its longevity possible.”

Not to mention, Pearl Jam’s tenth full-length  LPand fan favorite Lightning Bolt also celebrates its 10th anniversary this week. It originally dropped on October 15, 2013 and became the group’s fifth #1 debut on the Billboard 200. Brendan O’Brien produced Lightning Bolt, and it will be released in Spatial Audio on October 20th.

Multi-platinum, GRAMMY® Award-winning, alternative rock pioneers, The Smashing Pumpkins and Weezer have today announced a major summer tour of the UK and Ireland in 2024.

When The Smashing Pumpkins first emerged out of Chicago in 1988, the world had never heard a band quite like them. They spun together rock, pop, shoe-gaze, metal, goth, psychedelia, and electronic into a kaleidoscope of saccharine melodies, fuzzy distortion, bombastic orchestration, incendiary fretwork, eloquent songcraft, and unshakable hooks. Upon their formation, their sound was different, iconoclastic, and wholly new—and it still is today. As a result, they’ve sold over 30 million albums worldwide and collected two GRAMMY® Awards, two MTV VMAs, and an American Music Award. Their catalog is highlighted by the platinum Gish [1991], the quadruple-platinum Siamese Dream [1993], diamond-certified Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness [1995], platinum Adore [1998], and gold Machina/The Machines of God [2000]. 

In 2018, they embarked on one of their most successful tours ever, the Shiny and Oh So Bright Tour, followed by SHINY AND OH SO BRIGHT, VOL. 1 / LP: NO PAST. NO FUTURE. NO SUN. 2020 saw the release of the band’s eleventh full-length and latest double album, CYR.
