Third Album Millennials

Out February 23rd, 2024 via Happy Artist Records / The Orchard

Play Intimate Sold-Out Show at London’s Lafayette February 1st

Special Album Launch Shows @ Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom – February 27th & 28th

Following the announcement of their highly-anticipated third full length, Millennials, The Snuts  have released the latest advance in infectious stadium filler ‘Millionaires’. New album Millennials comes out February 23rd, 2024 on the band’s newly set up label Happy Artist Records – via The Orchard.

Destined to be a live favourite ‘Millionaires’ takes aim at society’s obsession with building a false sense of happiness. “It feels like society has become obsessed with focussing on the path towards monetary and materialistic gain and success instead of focussing on the here and the now and the value of true love and friendship – it’s a cliche, but those are the things in life that are priceless,” lead singer Jack Cochrane said. “‘Millionaires’is about the feeling of not wanting for anything, but surrounding yourself with the people in life that matter. We’ve seen so many toxic individuals creating ‘communities’ online which are teaching young people a negative rhetoric that money, possessions, status and misogyny are paramount for success. If love was money, we’d be millionaires.” Listen to ‘Millionaires’ HERE.

From start to finish, top to bottom, Millennials has been made entirely to The Snuts’ script. The result: a tight, taut, fat-free masterclass in songwriting and production, with 10 tracks clocking in just shy of half-an-hour. Frontman Jack Cochrane took the studio lead in collaboration with the band’s live MD Scott Anderson. Tracks were written on the run as The Snuts toured the world in support of their previous Top 3 album Burn The Empire, recorded on the fly in tour buses, dressing rooms, hotel rooms and a 300-quid-a-week studio in the Scottish Highlands.

“Leading into this new record, the original idea was: are there any songs we’ve forgotten to write?” says Cochrane. “Are there any ideas and feelings we can dip back into from when we weren’t living in this music world? That’s where we, as millennials, came up with the concept. Tapping into the emotions that we maybe hadn’t processed into music. Those big boiling points in your life. The first time you’re falling in love. First time your heart is broken. Those pivotal moments. On the last record there was a bit more nuance. With this one, we wanted to see how it would feel if we went more direct on the songs and to connect as easily as possible. I don’t think we’re living in an age now where people want to spend time taking something apart. We want people to feel it the first time they hear it.”

Another busy touring schedule is on the horizon too. With a full UK and worldwide headline tour to be announced soon, the band will take to the States for a full US tour in March, before topping the bill at Liverpool’s Sound City Festival in May. There will also be two very special album launch shows at the Glasgow Barrowland Ballroom on February 27th and 28th and a sold-out intimate date at London’s Lafayette on February 1st. Full list of dates HERE.

The Snuts have a chart-topping and top 3 albums under their belts, songs that attack subjects affecting the youth of today, and an arsenal of adoring fans up and down the country. As these four lads from Whitburn, West Lothian vowed four years ago, The Snuts wanted to be risky. And with Millennials, the millennial men of The Snuts have followed through on that promise.

Taken From New Studio Record Kaiser Chiefs’ Easy Eighth Album
Out March 1st, 2024

April UK Headline Tour – Includes 2 Special London Shows @ Troxy & Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace

Kaiser Chiefs today release their brand new single ‘Burning In Flames’ – taken from their forthcoming new studio album, the aptly titled Kaiser Chiefs’ Easy Eighth Album, out March 1st 2024.

Upbeat, and dripping in retro-disco sound, ‘Burning In Flames’ sees frontman Ricky Wilson in a reflective mood, looking back on the hugely successful career to date, as well as their staying power. He explains: “Being in a band for over 20 years isn’t as easy as we make it look. Sometimes any one of us could feel like we don’t want to do it anymore. There aren’t many of us bands left from the early 2000’s and that’s probably at times because it doesn’t seem worth it. But if your favourite toy is broken you don’t throw it away, you fix it. The real success is being able to make an Easy Eighth Album.”

Produced by Amir Amor (Rudimental), Kaiser Chiefs’ Easy Eighth Album sees the band return with a fresh and bold new sound. From the Nile Rodgers co-write of new single ‘Feeling Alright’, to the frantic ‘Beautiful Girl’, horn-laden Kaiser Chiefs throwback ‘Job Centre Shuffle’ and joyous punch in the gut that is ‘Jealousy’, these ten tracks are a true statement of intent from a band that continues to deliver the goods again and again.

The album announcement arrives off the back of roaring success with previous releases ‘Jealousy’ & ‘How 2 Dance’, as well as a big UK arena headline tour at the end of last year.

Where 2019’s Duck straddled the tide between Northern-Soul euphoria and early ‘00s antithesis, 2024 will see Kaiser Chiefs stepping into a renewed spotlight; a hook-heightened universe in which Ricky Wilson, Andrew “Whitey” White (guitar), Simon Rix (bass), Keyboardist Peanut and Vijay Mistry on drums, come together to once again create what they craft best; breakthrough belters for the world’s dancefloor.

Off the back of a UK arena tour, Kaiser Chiefs are changing things up and will return next year with a run of headline shows in April, including outdoor dates, as well as two special London shows at Troxy & Flippers Roller Boogie Palace (Apr 20th & 21st). They are not to be missed!

The band will play the following shows: Tickets Here

FIRST NEW MUSIC SINCE THEIR GRAMMY AWARD WINNING 2019 ALBUM, SOCIAL CUES

“…studded with sonic and structural allusions, though it doesn’t linger on any particular style or era. And the songs are never simply period pieces or party tunes. The band doesn’t merely understand, and revel in, what a historical anomaly it is. It also has feelings, and shows them.”
The New York Times

Today, Cage The Elephant return after a five year hiatus with their new single Neon Pillvia Columbia Records. For this song, they reunited with producer John Hill to record the song at Sonic Ranch in Tornillo, Texas.  Listen to ‘Neon Pill’ here.

The two-time GRAMMY Award winning band consists of brothers Matt Shultz (vocals) and Brad Shultz (rhythm guitar) along with Daniel Tichenor (bass), Jared Champion (drums), Nick Bockrath (lead guitar) and Matthan Minster (guitar, keyboards, backing vocals).

‘Neon Pill’ is the group’s first new music since their album, Social Cues, which won Best Rock album at the 2019 GRAMMY Awards. The cinematic song is both sinewy and swaggering with an art house film backdrop.

The band’s catalog continues to grow –  they’ve garnered over 5 billion total streams and within the last year, their fan favorite song “Cigarette Daydreams” has been streamed 200 million times, in part thanks to their inclusion on the soundtrack of the video game “Marvel’s Spider Man 2” and saw a concurrent resurgence on TikTok and a boom with the video creations using the song. Additionally, their song “Goodbye” was featured in the viral YA series “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” and the song “Trouble” was included in a recent international ad campaign for “Amazon Prime.”
Cage The Elephant formed in 2006 and has had a steady stream of international success with five studio albums released to date: the self-titled album Cage The Elephant (2008), Thank You, Happy Birthday (2011) Melophobia (2013) and the GRAMMY-winning albums Tell Me I’m Pretty (2015) and Social Cues (2019).  The band has sold over 2.7 million albums worldwide, achieved ten #1s records at Alternative radio, and five #1 records at Triple A radio.

Title Track To His Brand New Album
Out January 26th, 2024 on Columbia Records

Watch the video, directed by Tim Mattia HERE

2024 World Tour
UK ARENA LEG IN MARCH + HUGE HOMECOMING SHOW AT
MIDDLESBROUGH RIVERSIDE STADIUM

BIGGEST HEADLINE SHOW TO DATE – SATURDAY 8TH JUNE, 2024

Middlesbrough-born and Brit Billion-certified artist James Arthur has announced his brand new single ‘Bitter Sweet Love’ – the title track to his fifth, forthcoming new studio album – out January 26th, 2024. Watch the Tim Mattia-directed video HERE.

One of the first tracks written during the album’s creation, at Westlake Studios in West Hollywood with Steve Solomon, with whom he co-wrote his 2016 megahit ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’, “Bitter Sweet Love’ is a blast of funk-fuelled fun, with James showcasing yet another side of his extraordinary talent. Listen here.

“I love that it mashes up so many styles,” says James. “It goes from an almost The 1975-like groove to a Kings of Leon-esque pre chorus, then back to funky groove. It’s been one of my favourites from the moment I wrote it. It’s about someone who has a hold on you, but whose presence in your life fucks you up. You’re maybe drawn to them for how they look, despite how they play with your head.”

The track procedes the album’s superb offerings to date; ‘A Year Ago’, ‘Blindside’, ‘Just Us’, Homecoming’ & ‘Sleepwalking’, Bitter Sweet Love is James back to his very best, producing thirteen bites of world class music and a mature body of work, full of depth and oozing the impeccable songwriting quality that has defined his esteemed career to date.

2024 will also see a major world tour, in which multiple dates including UK arenas, sold out instantly, including London’s Wembley Arena, with The O2 now added. This was then followed by the announcement of a massive homecoming show at Middlesborough’s Riverside Stadium on Saturday 8th June 2024. This will be James’ biggest headline show to date and will see him joined by special guests McFly and Lauran Hibberd.

James is one of the world’s biggest streaming artists, with over 38 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone. James has scored 4 top 10 albums, with 2016’s Back From The Edge hitting the Number 1 spot and over his career has collaborated with the likes of Anne-Marie, Sigala, Rudimental, Marshmello & many more.

‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ became his breakthrough hit in the US. It was officially the UK’s most streamed song in 2016 and has gone on to be enjoyed via 4 billion streams while the song’s official video has achieved 1.5 billion views on YouTube. Earlier this year, the track became his first RIAA Diamond Single with 10 million certified units – making James one of just 100 recipients of an RIAA Diamond Single certification in the programme’s history.

Other huge hit singles include: ‘Impossible’, ‘Can I Be Him’, ‘Sun Comes Up’, ‘Naked’, ‘Empty Space’, ‘Rewrite The Stars’, ‘Falling Like the Stars’, ‘Train Wreck’ and ‘Lasting Lover’, which are all certified platinum records. The song ‘Cars Outside’ off the new album is currently becoming another global hit for James.

James will play the following UK arena dates next year. Remaining tickets are on sale here.

Written by Diane Warren & Taken From Her Latest Studio Album The Fifth Chapter
Out Now on Tag8/BMG

Announced For BBC Radio 2 Piano Room – January 30th
Plays Isle Of Wight Festival + September 2024 UK Headline Shows
Includes London Royal Albert Hall – September 23rd, 2024

‘An album of dazzling versatility’ Daily Mail
‘As she deftly moves between genres, the constant is her perfect vocals’The Sun
‘Beverley masters bouncing house pianos and bassy R&B with equal skill’ – Daily Star
‘An immaculate set from a world-class performer who is hard to pigeonhole’Daily Mirror
‘A superb return.’ – 4* Retropop Magazine
‘The Fifth Chapter seamlessly covers diverse musical ground’ – 4* Classic Pop

After a triumphant 2023 that included a phenomenal new studio record, on top of a rapturous UK headline tour, undoubted Queen of British Soul Beverley Knight returns in 2024 right out of the blocks with superb new track ‘Not Prepared For You’written by Diane Warren, taken from that critically acclaimed studio album, The Fifth Chapter – out now on Tag8/BMG.

A grand, orchestral ballad with a 60s soul vibe, ‘Not Prepared For You’ was written by Diane Warren, with the pair in Hollywood. Listen here.

“When Diane was playing songs for me to consider, she loaded up ‘Not Prepared For You’, which I KNEW instantly was an absolute smash, before I even heard the chorus. I was cutting it the next day.” On her time with Dianne, Beverley goes on to reflect; “My God, that woman blows in like a hurricane! She’s so inspiring. As an older woman still writing huge hits across different genres, she’s proof that age in pop no longer matters.”

The new record, that dropped at the end of last year, marked Beverley’s 50th birthday and saw her in simply superb form. It was BBC Radio 2’s ‘Album Of The Week’, she performed a showstopping live vocal performance on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing results show (watch here), and also saw The Daily Mail describe it as “an album of dazzling versatility”, The Sun noting her “perfect vocals” and the Daily Mirror branding her as “a world-class performer.”

No stranger to the spotlight, Beverley can do it all. An Olivier award-winning star of the West End stage, Saturday night TV regular on Starstruck, and an astounding singer with a prolific music career. She finds herself aged 50, bigger than ever.

2024 will first see Beverley perform as part of BBC Radio 2’s Piano Room month on January 30th, where she will perform a special Radiohead cover. She will then dive back into the West End, starring in Sister Act at the Dominion Theatre from March 11th – June 8th, shortly followed by a special main stage appearance at Isle Of Wight Festival, before heading back out on the road to perform six additional UK headline shows that came off the back of such huge demand from last year’s tour. Taken From Their New Collaborative Studio Album Swing Fever out February 23rd, 2024

Sir Rod Stewart and Jools Holland with his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra release ‘Ain’t Misbehavin”, their second offering from the exquisite Swing Fever.

The track sees a sensational interpretation of the early swing classic co-written by Fats Waller. As Jools explains, “Fats is another example of somebody who delivers a popular song, and you can’t quite work out what he’s done. It’s treated so lightly, but it’s so clever.”

It follows the album’s first release – a superb working of show tune ‘Almost Like Being In Love’ – written by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe, and made famous by Frank Sinatra & Nat King Cole.

For the first time, Britain’s new partners in swing have united on record to share their peerless dexterity on a tribute to such truly great songs as ‘Frankie And Johnny’, ‘Sentimental Journey’ and ‘Lullaby Of Broadway’.

Rod Stewart is one of the best-selling artists, with over 250 million albums sold worldwide. His signature voice, style and songwriting have transcended all genres of popular music, from rock, folk, soul, R&B, and even the Great American Songbook; making him one of the few stars to enjoy chart-topping albums throughout every decade of his career. He’s earned countless of the industry’s highest awards, among them, two inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the ASCAP Founders Award for songwriting, New York Times bestselling author, Grammy™ Living Legend, and in 2016 he officially became “Sir Rod Stewart” after being knighted at Buckingham Palace for his services to music and charity.

Some of his major hits include “Gasoline Alley,” “Every Picture Tells a Story,” “Mandolin Wind,” “You Wear It Well,” “The Killing of Georgie,” “Tonight’s the Night,” “You’re In My Heart (The Final Acclaim),” “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?,” “Young Turks,” “Forever Young,” “Hot Legs,” “Infatuation,” the unforgettable “Maggie May,” and many more.

Jools Holland left Squeeze in the 1980s and formed his Big Band with the help of ex Squeeze drummer, Gilson Lavis. Over the last thirty years his Rhythm and Blues Orchestra have gone on to score numerous platinum and gold albums, which have included collaborations with George Harrison, Amy Winehouse, and countless others, becoming the UK’s most successful recording and touring Big Band. He also hosts the BBC’s longest running music show, ‘Later with Jools Holland’, showcasing and performing with some of the World’s greatest talent, as well as the Annual Hootenanny, which is the UK’s biggest New Year’s Eve television show.

Jools sums up the spontaneous charm of Swing Fever; “The effect that this music has on me, and whenever I put it on where people are, they feel this thing, they want to move. Music is an expression of a lot of different things, and joy is an important part of what it does. You can feel the joy in this music, and it’s unashamed joy as well.”

Swing Fever is available on Black Vinyl, Colour Vinyl, CD & Digital – pre-order HERE.

‘With Madonna’s Celebration Tour, The Queen Of Pop Reclaims Her Throne.’
 – British Vogue
‘A showcase for a star with dazzling staying power.’
– The Guardian
‘The whole thing is a thrilling reminder that Madonna isn’t just a pop star, but also a cultural force who genuinely changed the world by chafing against what society expects from women in the public eye.’
– NME

Tonight, Madonna, a cultural icon commuted on the tube  to arrive at North Greenwich for London’s The O2 Arena, to wrap the sold-out European leg of her critically praised The Celebration Tour.  The continent was brought to a standstill as the tour, spanning eleven countries and twenty-eight shows, delivered an unparalleled experience of powerful presence, infectious energy, and a mesmerising production.

Launching this past October in London with the first of six sold out shows at The O2, The Celebration Tour, a testament to Madonna’s groundbreaking legacy, spared no detail. The best-selling female artist of all time delivered a non-stop, fearless performance featuring captivating choreography, bold costumes, and her most elaborate stage to date, masterfully designed by Stufish.

Reflecting on her extraordinary career, Madonna took the enraptured audience on an emotional odyssey through her greatest hits, including songs not performed for decades. From her struggling artist days in New York City to meteoric success, personal and professional lows, and spiritual awakening, the show encapsulated Madonna’s past while embracing the future. Directed for the stage by longtime collaborator Jamie King and musically orchestrated by Stuart Price, the setlist featured iconic tracks like “Nothing Really Matters,” “Open Your Heart,” “Like A Prayer,” “Into The Groove,” and “Crazy For You.”

Madonna has also been joined by various special guest judges during “Vogue” including Debi Mazar, Donatella Versace, Jean Paul Gaultier, Diplo and FKA Twigs, to name a few.

The Celebration Tour, spanning four decades of unstoppable hits, featured twenty onstage performers on a colossal 4,400 square ft. stage—the largest in Madonna’s touring history. The stage, inspired by the Manhattan grid, showcased Uptown, Downtown, Midtown, East, and West stages, with a unique three-layered circular stage reminiscent of Madonna’s original VMA performance wedding cake.

Backstage and behind the curtain were three travelling mobile gyms, forty-five wardrobe trunks, three physical therapists, and forty pairs of boxing gloves. The production boasted fourteen spotlights for Madonna, over six-hundred intelligent lights illuminating the stage, 8800 lighting cues, 80 tons of production equipment, and a travelling crew of 200+. Notably, the costume department alone comprised 25 crew members, showcasing the scale of the production.

The 79-date tour, produced by Live Nation, now heads to Madonna’s adopted hometown of New York City in December, commencing the North American leg. The celebration will continue across the U.S. and Canada throughout spring 2024, concluding with four sold-out show and a 5th & final date added due to demand in Mexico City next April. Kicking off 2023 with Part I – When Everything Was Lost, London’s Palace close out the year with the release of Part II – Nightmares & Ice Cream, the final part in the collection of EPs. Out now on Fiction records you can listen to Part II – Nightmares & Ice Cream HERE.

Opening with stunning laid back tones of ‘Rabid Dog’, the three track EP also features the beautifully bewitching single ‘Make You Proud’ and the EP’s hazy title track ‘Nightmares & Ice Cream’. Produced by Adam Jaffrey (Loyle Carner, Tom Misch, Yussef Dayes) at Unwound Studios, PartII – Nightmares & Ice Cream sees the band with a sharp new focus. Beautifully hypnotic, mesmerising and full of raw emotion, the EP is the band at their very best.

‘Nightmares & Ice Cream’ is another snapshot of life and moments of the past year,” lead singer Leo Wyndham said of the EP. “It’s Part II of the journey, and one that’s felt very significant. It’s a hazy chapter of intense reflection to past events, but also a sort of purgatory where we stumble forward, stunned, trying to find some kind of grip on reality.”

Childhood friends Palace released their acclaimed debut EP Lost In The Night in 2014, followed by the Chase The Light EP the year after. Now with three albums under their belt, So Long Forever, Life After and 2022’s Shoals and a mass of adoring fans across the world, the band look set to close 2023 on a high.

Announce Headline Date at Glasgow’s O2 Academy

May 23rd, 2024

Following the release of their raucous single ‘Stuck In A Car With You’ earlier this year, Twin Atlantic return with their new single ‘Asleep’. The track is the second taste of new music this year, with the band currently in the studio working on a new album, which is set for release in 2024 on the band’s own label Staple Diet.

Produced by lead singer Sam McTrusty and bassist Ross McNae and mixed by Romesh Dodangoda at Long Wave Recording Studio, ‘Asleep’ is the band back to their anthemic best. Equal parts frantic and euphoric, ‘Asleep’ is an infectious guitar driven banger, which sonically sees the band look to the future while dipping into a sense of nostalgia. Listen to ‘Asleep’ HERE.

“Asleep was so fun to write and record. We really managed to recapture the joy we’ve felt about being in our weird band our whole adult lives again,” Sam McTrusty said of the single. “We feel like it’s the perfect mix of joy, melancholy, serious subject matters, but with a throwaway attitude. Hopefully it gives people who listen the same injection of excitement it gave us. Can’t wait to play this one live.”

Just back from a sold-out run of intimate shows across the UK, Twin Atlantic will play a very special homecoming show at Glasgow’s O2 Academy in May 2024.

Ticket pre-sale opens from 10.00am, Wednesday Dec 13th HERE. General sale at 10.00am, Friday 15th Dec HERE.

Following the acclaim for their 2023 appearance at the National Concert Hall, Costello and Nieve return to Dublin to close the tour with a four-night stand at Vicar St, during which they will present something approaching 100 songs in four different programmes.

“Costello is one of the world’s greatest songwriters, up there with McCartney. You forget how many timeless songs he actually has until he plays them. It is immediately obvious of the enduring power of them too.”

Irish Independent, Dublin, Ireland – September 7th, 2023

The collaboration of Elvis Costello and Steve Nieve has spanned over 45 years, with appearances together on 25 record albums – from “Watching The Detectives” to “The Boy Named If” – and on countless stages. Yet twenty years have elapsed since Costello and Nieve made their last full-length appearance in the U.K. at the Cafe de Paris, London in 2004.

Since early 2023 – when Costello undertook a ten-night engagement at the Gramercy Theatre in New York City – the songwriter has taken a deeper, more curious look at his repertoire.

Costello said, “I want to uncover, rediscover, dismantle and re-assemble songs, “Before your very eyes”, as stage magicians used to announce before their next trick.”

That NYC stand promised “100 Songs In 10 Nights”, a figure which was surpassed by Night Four. More than 230 different songs had been performed by Night Ten with Steve Nieve sharing the stage for over half of those performances.

From late August to early October 2023 the “Costello & Nieve” presentation visited twenty-two European cities; from Madrid to Oslo, from Brussels to Budapest, arriving at new connections with well-known titles after having received some of the most sustained applause for songs that had rarely, if ever, featured in concert and garnering rave press notices along the way.

“Costello’s unique singing is of astonishing quality, the voice is always powerful, as is the piano.”

Luzerner Zeitung, Lucerne, Switzerland – October 3rd, 2023.

Costello’s songs have recently featured in the Rupert Goold-directed Almeida Theatre production of “Cold War”, adapted for the stage by Conor McPherson from Pawel Pawlikowski’s 2018 OSCAR-nominated motion picture.

“I Do (Zula’s Song)” was written in response upon first viewing “Cold War”, before the idea of an adaptation was even proposed.

The stage version of “Cold War” features new arrangements and interpretations of titles from Costello’s catalogue alongside songs specially written for this adaptation.

The Almeida production of “Cold War” has been in preview since November 30th, 2023, and runs until January 27th, 2024.
