R.LUM.R Releases Two New Tracks – ‘Right Here’ and ‘I Need To Know’ Out Now
Fans can catch him performing the new songs along with fan favourites including smash hit “Frustrated” on his upcoming US/CAN tour with Louis The Child, which kicks off November 7th in Toronto.
“With these songs, I wanted to say something very honest in the hope that someone would relate,” says R.LUM.R. “I hope someone hears these and feels seen. I want to encourage you to look right where you are and find the love and life that is right here, where you are.”
The songs follow a flurry of activity for R.LUM.R, who was recently featured on NPR’s World Café Nashville (click HERE to watch), performed at Bonnaroo (where Rolling Stone said he was one of the best acts they saw) and Hangout Music Festival, released “Emotion” with producer/DJ duo Vindata and put out ALTERIMAGE, an EP featuring stunning new renditions of tracks from his critically acclaimed debut, AFTERIMAGE. The EP’s six tracks were all recorded live and in one take, incorporating a string quartet, grand piano and acoustic guitars to create alternate versions of the songs DJ Booth described as “Gallant meets Frank Ocean on ‘Nikes.’”
Over the course of the past year, the Nashville-based (by way of Bradenton, Florida) R.LUM.R has racked up nearly 60 million Spotify streams hit top 10 at Urban AC with breakout single “Frustrated,” played to packed-house crowds around the world, performed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” twice hit No.1 on Sirius XM’s “The Heat,” was featured in a VEVO DSCVR campaign, spotlighted as a Deezer Next Artist, was chosen as a Google Play Artist To Watch for 2018, was the face of Spotify’s “Alt R&B” playlist for 6 months and drew accolades from NPR, New York Times, RollingStone, Time, Vibe,Paste, Sunday Times, The Independent, Wonderland, The Tennessean, Clash and NashvilleScene, to name but a few.
