Bad Sounds Good ‘Wages’ New Single Taken From Debut Album ‘Get Better’
10 Date UK Tour October/November
Bad Sounds, brainchild of brothers Callum and Ewan Merrett, are one of the most original, exciting British bands to emerge this year. Their debut album ‘Get Better’ is an undisputed gem and includes current single ‘Wages’, a new version of their breakout single.

Next month they embark on their biggest UK tour yet buoyed by heavy Radio 1 support and a growing fanbase. Their label Insanity is the perfect home for their highly imaginative spin both musical and lyrical on very 21st century problems including anxiety and depression but delivered in a positively upbeat way.
Their wonderful, intoxicating mash-up of influences – Beck, Flaming Lips, Michael Jackson and Curtis Mayfield – makes their debut album ‘Get Better’ impossible not to love.
‘Wages’, a song about juggling work and chasing dreams of pop stardom, was originally released in 2016, earning ‘Hottest Record in the World’ from Annie Mac. This new version is just one of many standout tracks on as joyous a debut album you will hear for a very long time.
